It’s time for everyone to be totally honest.

Have you ever driven along the highway and seen other people drive by in cars much newer or nicer than yours?  Did you wonder why they have a new car when you’re driving a refuge from the salvage yard?

Have you ever ridden through a neighborhood and wondered who owns the expensive houses with the neatly manicured lawns?  Did you ever wonder how they could afford such a place. . .with the nice cars sitting in the driveway?

Have you ever wondered why some of the most ungodly people in your office dress in ways you can’t afford?

And, yes, have you ever asked God why it seems that ungodly people prosper while many of God’s children struggle to just get by?

Be honest. . .now.  Truthfully, there have been times in the past when I wondered about those things.  I think that’s why I was led to write “Seven Reasons The Ungodly Prosper.”

Recently some scriptures stirred my spirit to think beyond my imagination as my husband likes to say.

Have you noticed when writers of the New Testament authors like Peter or Paul or John begin to make a point in scripture they give us information but we pass over it because it is not a part of the point they are making?  

In the very opening of 1 Peter 2:11 in the New King James Version Peter puts these words:

“Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims….”

God’s Word Translation of that same verse says: “Dear friends, since you are foreigners and temporary residents in the world….”

You are either a “can do” person or you are a “can’t do” person.

If you feel you can’t do things, I’m going to give you six points that will take you out of the loser’s circle and put you into the winner’s circle.

No matter how unsuccessful you may have been up to this point, it can change today.

I get over 200 emails a day and that doesn’t count forwarded email . . .which as a rule I don’t open unless it’s from a CLOSE personal friend.  But recently, I came across a piece of forwarded mail from an anonymous author which stirred my faith…so I’ve decided to share it with you.

Subject: Who God Uses

Who God Uses God, grant me the Serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the Courage to change the one I can, and the Wisdom to know it's me.

I’ve got a word for you. . .whatever you’ve been believing for. . .it’s going to happen.

It’s not a question of if. . .but when.

My fine wife, Bev, shared a scripture with me several days ago that ignited in my spirit and strengthened my belief that. . .whatever you’re believing for. . .trusting is going to happen. . .is going to manifest.

1 Chronicles 28:20 in The Living Bible says:

“Then he continued, “Be strong and courageous and get to work. Don’t be frightened by the size of the task, for the Lord my God is with you; he will not forsake you. He will see to it that everything is finished correctly."

In this powerful verse. . .we find seven reasons what you’re believing for. . .is going to happen.
