2016: Year Of The Miraculous Turn Around - Outline

on on . .

Here is the teaching outline for SUNDAY NITE LIVE.  Join us at 6 PM (EST).

Jeremiah 8:4 CEV

“[The People Took the Wrong Road ] The LORD said: People of Jerusalem, when you stumble and fall, you get back up, and if you take a wrong road, you turn around and go back.”

Acts 3:19 AMP

“So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord.”

Joel 2:13 MSG

“Change your life, not just your clothes. Come back to God, your God. And here's why: God is kind and merciful. He takes a deep breath, puts up with a lot, This most patient God, extravagant in love, always ready to cancel catastrophe. Who knows? Maybe he'll do it now, maybe he'll turn around and show pity. Maybe, when all's said and done, there'll be blessings full and robust for your God!”

God will not only forgive your past sins. . .He will forget them as well.

Ezekiel 18:21 MSG

"But a wicked person who turns his back on that life of sin and keeps all my statutes, living a just and righteous life, he'll live, really live. He won't die. I won't keep a list of all the things he did wrong. He will live. Do you think I take any pleasure in the death of wicked men and women? Isn't it my pleasure that they turn around, no longer living wrong but living right—really living?”

Psalm 27:10 MSG

“My father and mother walked out and left me, but God took me in.”

Jeremiah 29:11-14 MSG

“I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.  When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." God's Decree. "I'll turn things around for you. . .You can count on it.”

The first thing that must turnaround is our attitude.

Mark 9:23 GWT

“Jesus said to him, `As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes.’”

Philippians 2:5 NLT

“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”

What we think determines how we act.

Philippians 2:5 CEV

“And think the same way that Christ Jesus thought.”

Hebrews 4:12 kjv

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

The second thing that must turnaround is our actions.

Matthew 5:37 AMP

“But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’ [a firm yes or no]; anything more than that comes from the evil one.”

James 1:23-25 AMP

For if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he immediately forgets what he looked like. 25 But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience].”

The third thing we must turnaround is our priorities.

Matthew 6:33 AMP

“But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being rightthe attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.”

Romans 12:2 AMP

“And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”

Romans 12:2 NLT

“. . .let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. . .”

Luke 12:34 KJV

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Exodus 20:3 KJV

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

The fourth thing to turnaround is your focus.

Luke 9:41 MSG

“Jesus said, "What a generation! No sense of God! No focus to your lives! How many times do I have to go over these things? How much longer do I have to put up with this?”

Proverbs 13:20 NLT

“Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.”

Hebrews 12:2 MSG

“We’d better get on with it. . .keep your eyes on Jesus. . .Study how he did it.  Because he never lost sight of where he was headed.”

The fifth thing to turnaround is a working critical path.

The sixth thing to turnaround is the words coming out of your mouth.

Psalm 34:12-13 TLB

“Do you want a long, good life? Then watch your tongue! Keep your lips from lying.”

1 Peter 3:10 TLB

“If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies.”

Isaiah 55:11 AMP

“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Isaiah 55:11 MSG

“So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They'll do the work I sent them to do, they'll complete the assignment I gave them.”

The seventh thing is to realize your turnaround can happen just like that.

John 11:45 MSG

“That was a turnaround for many of the Jews who were with Mary. They saw what Jesus did, and believed in him.”
