Do you qualify to serve as His Emergency Miracle Technician?

1.         You must be born-again.

2.         You’re not knowingly compromising with sin.

3.         You’re strengthening yourself with the Word of God and spending time in His presence.

4.         You’re tithing and giving offerings.

5.         You’re free of unforgiveness in your heart.

6.         You’re obeying His instructions.

7.         You’re full of faith and the Holy Ghost.

1.         Always be ready for the 911 call.

Psalm 91:15 in NLT

“When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.”

Psalm 50:15 NLT

“Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”

Psalm 34:17 MSG

“Is anyone crying for help? God is listening, ready to rescue you.”

2.         Analyze the situation.

Proverbs 18:21 MSG

“Words kill, words give life;  they're either poison or fruit—you choose.”

Hosea 14:9 NLT

“Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.”

Joshua 7:13 NLT

“Get up! Command the people to purify themselves in preparation for tomorrow. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Hidden among you, O Israel, are things set apart for the Lord. You will never defeat your enemies until you remove these things from among you.”.

3.         Administer life-saving procedures in the situation.

Ephesians 4:29 AMPC

“Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect inweakness.”

Ephesians 6:13 MSG

“Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”

4.         Stabilize the situation.

Romans 3:17 AMPC

“And they have no experience of the way of peace [they know nothing about peace, for a peaceful way they do not even recognize].”

John 14:27 AMPC

“Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]”

5.         Address the immediate needs in the situation.

Psalm 102:1-2 NLT

“[A prayer of one overwhelmed with trouble, pouring out problems before the Lord.] Lord, hear my prayer!  Listen to my plea!  Don’t turn away from me in my time of distress.  Bend down to listen, and answer me quickly when I call to you.”

Psalm 35:28 AMPC

“And my tongue shall talk of Your righteousness, rightness, and justice, and of [my reasons for] Your praise all the day long.”

Deuteronomy 10:21 NLT

“He alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise, the one who has done these mighty miracles that you have seen with your own eyes.”

6.         Deliver the patient to where he/she can get extended care.

1 Timothy 1:5 NLT

“The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.”

Romans 8:26 AMPC

“So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.”

Hebrews 10:25 AMPC

“Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.”

7.         Be ready for your next emergency assignment.

2 Timothy 4:2 AMPC

“Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.”

2 Timothy 2:15 AMPC

“Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.”

Colossians 3:23 AMPC

“Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men.”

First, Joshua 3:5 should become our expectation for each new day.

“For tomorrow, Jehovah will do wonders among you.”

Second, 1 Samuel 10:7 in the Message Bible says:

"When these confirming signs are accomplished, you'll know that you're ready: Whatever job you're given to do, do it. God is with you!”

Give your best. . .He asks for nothing less.

Matthew 25:22-23 in the Message Bible pretty much sums up this teaching.

“The servant with the two thousand showed how he also had doubled his master’s investment. His master commended him: ‘Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.’

Daniel 6:27 NLT

“He rescues and saves his people; he performs miraculous signs and wonders in the heavens and on earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”
