Below is the text form a special email I sent this morning concerning 24 hours of Prayer on January 24th. I have also included the audio from my RichThoughts for Breakfast call from January 21st: Are You One of the 24? Audio.
It was 1:45 AM when I awakened from a deep sleep ... and “Day Of Prayer” was stirring in my spirit.
My first thought was God was directing me to build another Tabernacle of Prayer as I did on January 1, 2010 ... but He allowed me to drift back off to sleep without fully getting His instructions as to what He wanted me to do.
At 4:30 AM ... I was wide awake ... I walked out to the kitchen table and started praying and meditating about God’s instructions when He led me to Revelation 4:1-4 which says:
"After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, 'Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.' Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.
"And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.”
As I was reading these verses ... my divine direction became crystal clear.
On Friday, January 24th, I’m to pray 24 hours with at least 24 elders.
Here are my instructions ...
I’m to personally commit to praying part of every hour on the 24th of January for the Body of Christ to gain a revelatory understanding of the things that must take place for 2014 to be the greatest year in each of our lives. That includes you!
Second, I’m to find a minimum of 24 believers ... more would be so much better … who will commit to function as a prayer elder during one specifically assigned hour of January 24th.
Third, I’m to send these key Prayer Elders ... a list of people ... first name and city only ... for whom they’re to pray.
Fourth, I’m to encourage these prayer elders to pray for five things.
1. For the irresistible charm of Jesus to flow through everyone we pray for ... so they flow in supernatural favor with everyone they meet in 2014.
2. For everyone to discover previously unknown opportunities ... maximizing previously untried potential ... making 2014 the most successful year in every area of our lives (spiritual, family, financial, physical, mental and social).
3. For unsaved friends and family to come to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
4. For the supernatural elimination and cancellation of debt ... and for everyone to walk in God’s surplus.
5. For everyone to be delivered from whatever has been holding them back from being and doing what God called them to be and do.
Here are two other instructions I was given.
First, I was directed to email or call you to determine if you want to be one of the 24 Prayer Elders for the 24th of January.
If so, I’m to ask you to select one hour in which you will pray specifically for the list of partners I will send you for the manifestation of the five things listed above. You don’t have to pray for an entire hour ... just pray for the list of folks I will send you.
Whether you feel led to function as a Prayer Elder or not ... we still want to pray this five-fold blessing over your life this Friday, January 24th. All you have to do is sign up.

I either want to pray with or for you this Friday.
Second, I was directed to remind you that seed must be planted before you will ever receive a harvest. As I was meditating on this instruction ... I saw seeds of 24 ... $24, $240 or $2400 ... or whatever God directs you to give. If you would like to be included on the prayer list, there is also a place to sign up.
I was also instructed to remind you to sow where you’re wanting to go ... and not from where you’ve already been. I’m to encourage you to sow toward your future harvests and not on the basis of what you have at the moment.
Two words just popped in my spirit. “Sow Forward.”

Once I receive your commitment I will email you a list of the people you’re to pray for.
I’m filled with expectation for the miracle breakthroughs that will manifest on January 24th. I look forward to your commitment to be a Prayer Elder.

P.S. I was about to conclude this email when God gave me three scriptures for you.
First, James 5:16 in the Amplified Bible says:
“ ... The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”
Second, Job 42:10 in The Living Bible says:
“Then, when Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his wealth and happiness! In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!”
Lastly, Ephesians 6:8 in The Living Bible says:
“Remember, the Lord will pay you for each good thing you do, whether you are slave or free.”
