American Express. . .says don’t leave home without it.

MasterCard. . .takes you wherever you want to be.

Truthfully, the credit cards may take you there. . .but if you don’t pay your bills they won’t bring you back.

Wisdom will lead to the good life. . .and takes you wherever God wants you to go.

James 3:13 in the Good News Translation says:

“[The Wisdom from Above ] Are there any of you who are wise and understanding? You are to prove it by your good life, by your good deeds performed with humility and wisdom.”

Proverbs 3:16-17 in The Living Bible says:

“Wisdom gives: a long, good life, riches, honor, pleasure, peace.”

Proverbs 19:8 in the Message Bible says:

“Grow a wise heart—you’ll do yourself a favor; keep a clear head—you’ll find a good life.”

I do feel impressed to point out that knowledge leads to wisdom.  

Hosea 4:6 says:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me…. “

Knowledge is knowing and wisdom is putting the knowledge into practice to help you succeed.  God wants His people walking in knowledge and wisdom.

James 1:5 in the Amplified Bible says:

“If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.”
