7 Keys To 174

. .

174.    What does 174 mean to you?  Need a hint?

174 is not money. . .but then it could be. . .that’s your choice.  Would it surprise you to know that 174 is more valuable than money?

174 is the number of days left in 2013.  What are you going to do with these 174 days?

Did you set goals for 2013?  If so, what progress have you made in achieving your goals?  It’s time for a realistic view of where you are, what you’re doing, where you’re going and who you’re talking or listening to.

This is not the time to be making excuses about why you haven’t done this or that.

I want to give you seven keys on how you can maximize your potential for the next 174 days.

The 1st key is to. . .Discover what God has to say about your future.

Jeremiah 29:11 in the Contemporary English Version says:

“I will bless you with a future filled with hope--a future of success, not of suffering.”

The 2nd  key is to. . .Refuse to take any day for granted.

The 3rd key is to. . .Believe there are no limitations to what you can achieve.

My friend, John Mason, says:  “Do just once what others say you can’t do and you will never pay attention to their limitations again.”

The 4th key is to. . .Create a confession that will empower your 174 day plan.

The 5th key is to. . .Monitor the plan you’ve created.  You must inspect what you expect to prevent defects.

The 6th key is to. . .Praise God on a daily basis for the progress you’re making. One step forward is progress.  Even one step back is a learning process for two steps forward tomorrow!

Psalm 35:29 says:

“And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.”

The 7th  key is to. . .Never give up, never give in and never back down from the things God has stirred in your spirit.

Child of God, the only limitations you face are self-deceiving, self-imposed, self-sustaining and self-maintained.

In other words, you. . .yourself. . .are the only possible reason or person that can hold you back from achieving what God wants you to do in the next 174 days.

I want to speak frankly with you for a minute…ignorance is not knowing what to do.  Stupidly is knowing what to do but choosing not to do it.  Always, remember that God has no sympathy for self-inflicted stupidity.

Neither does He make excuses if you give up.  Even though Peter walked on water (have you?), Jesus didn’t say, “Oh, Peter, I realize it got really windy out here and you got scared.”

“Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and caught and held him, saying to him, O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”  Matthew 14:31

The Lord knows you can do everything He’s called you to do.

God is giving you 174 gifts during the remainder of 2013. . .what are you going to do with them?  Make your Heavenly Father proud of you.

As the famous entrepreneur, Napoleon Hill, used to say, “It’s always your next move.”
