7 Life-Changing Financial Confessions

. .

I vividly remember where I was sitting when the Lord dropped one of the most powerful financial confessions I’ve ever heard. . .into my spirit.

Debt is disappearing.

Lack is leaving

Poverty is fleeing

Faith is increasing

Money is multiplying

Wealth is accumulating

Generosity is growing

At first, I thought God was giving me a great confession to be used in my seminars, church services and TV broadcasts.

Then suddenly, I realized it was much more. . .I knew He was giving me seven confessions to change our financial lives.

First, Debt is disappearing.

The very first scripture He led me to was 1 Samuel 22:2 in the Amplified Bible which says:

“And everyone in distress or in debt or discontented gathered to him, and he became a commander over them. And there were with him about 400 men.”

Like attracts like.  Broke people attract broke people. . .people in debt attract other people in debt.

As I imagined the men being gathered to David. . .I saw something like Captain Jack Sparrow’s crew from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

The great news is . . . even the most discontented can be saved, delivered and set free from financial lack with one divine encounter with our great God Jehovah.

When we come into the realization that the creditors want to take everything from us . . . that they’re not our friends. . .then we’re on the way to financial freedom.

Habakkuk 2:7 says:

“Shall [your debtors] not rise up suddenly who shall bite you, exacting usury of you, and those awake who will vex you [toss you to and fro and make you tremble violently]? Then you will be booty for them.”

Make no mistake. . .the advertisers and lenders want to plunder your bank accounts.

Your debt will disappear. . .even supernaturally when you’re obedient to divine instructions.

2 Kings 4:7 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Then she came and told the man of God. He said, Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons live on the rest.”

Not only did the widow in 2 Kings 4 get her debts paid, her retirement properly funded but her obedience kept her two sons from being taken into slavery by her husband’s creditors.

Are you ready to SHOUT?

Debt disappearing from your life. . .is dependent upon the decisions you make and the actions you take.

Second, Lack is leaving.

Lack is a bad, evil, disgusting, potential-robbing, destiny-destroying and promise-stealing four-letter word.

What’s the best way for lack to leave your life?  Consider three scriptures.

First, Proverbs 28:27 in the New Living Translation says:

“Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.”

According to Strong’s Concordance the Hebrew word for lack is machcowr (H4270) and it means:

“need, poverty, thing needed.”

Interestingly enough, H4270 is in the Hebrew Concordance of the King James Bible a total of thirteen times. . .in eight of those verses. . .the word is translated as want which leads us to the second verse.

Second, Psalm 34:9 in the Amplified Bible says:

“O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.”

The third verse is Proverbs 21:5 n the Amplified Bible which says:

“The thoughts of the [steadily] diligent tend only to plenteousness, but everyone who is impatient and hasty hastens only to want.”

If you want lack to leave your life. . .then you must:

Revere and worship the Lord.

Give to the poor.

Think right thoughts about your financial future.

God’s plan for you is summarized in the first part of Acts 4:34 which says:

“Neither was there any among them that lacked. . .”

Third, Poverty is fleeing.

Once we begin to fully realize that poverty is the devil’s anointing. . .our next words to poverty should be the words of a Ray Charles song.  We need to tell poverty to “hit the road Jack. . .and never come back no more. . .no more. . .no more!”

Job 36:15 says:

“He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.”

The Hebrew word forpoor is `aniy (H6041) and it means:

“poor, afflicted, humble, wretched, needy.”

Sounds to me. . .like God wants poverty to flee from our lives.

Deuteronomy 15:4-5 in the Amplified Bible says:

“But there will be no poor among you, for the Lord will surely bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you for an inheritance to possess, If only you carefully listen to the voice of the Lord your God, to do watchfully all these commandments which I command you this day.”

Let me get this straight. . .

# 1       There will be NO poor among you.

# 2       The Lord will bless you.

# 3       God is giving you an inheritance to possess.

# 4       If only. . .

# 5       You listen to His voice.

# 6       Do all His commandments.

# 7       Which he will give you this day.

Sounds to me. . .like it’s time for poverty. . .to also “hit the road Jack.”

Fourth, faith is increasing.

Here are five keys to increasing your faith.

# 1       Feed your faith. . .through the Word.

Brother Kenneth Hagin, founder of Rhema Bible Training Center, said:

“Faith begins where the will of God is known.”

How do you know the will of God?

READ YOUR BIBLE!

Then you can . . .DO WHAT IT SAYS.

# 2       Exercise your faith. . .by your actions.

What you do in life. . .will be a reflection of what you’ve learned.

John 8:38 in the Amplified Bible says:

“I tell the things which I have seen and learned at My Father’s side, and your actions also reflect what you have heard and learned from your father.”

# 3       Speak to your faith. . .to make it grow.

2 Corinthians 4:13 in the Good News Translation says:

“The scripture says, “I spoke because I believed.” In the same spirit of faith we also speak because we believe.”

There are also times when you will speak about things of faith before they ever manifest in the natural realm.

Your boldness in your faith will open doors of opportunity for you.

# 4       Free your faith. . .from negativity.

Brother Kenneth Hagin often said:

“Feed your faith and starve your doubts.”

The word negative isn’t really in the King James Version of the Bible.  However, when I think about the word negative I’m reminded of the word doubt.

F.F. Bosworth, the author of Christ the Healer, said “faith and doubt cannot live in the same house.”

# 5       Believing the impossible as possible.

Luke 1:37 in the Amplified Bible says:

“For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”

With God. . .nothing is impossible.  Well, there is one thing . . .it’s impossible to please God without faith.

Fifth, wealth is accumulating.

The first key to accumulating wealth is knowing it’s what God wants you to do. . .or else He wouldn’t have given you the power to get it.

Let’s look at Deuteronomy 8:18:

“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

Here are seven things you can know for sure.

# 1       thou. . .you.  This is about you.

The Amplified Bible translation of Deuteronomy 8:18 says:

“But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth…”

It’s clear this verse is talking about YOU.  Now that should make YOU shout HALLELUJAH!

# 2         remember the Lord your God.

Proverbs 3:6 in the Good News Translation says:

“Remember the Lord in everything you do, and he will show you the right way.”

# 3       'He give thee.'

God is giving the power to get wealth to you. . .just as surely as He does to:  Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer or Juanita Bynum.  Or for that matter, Warren Buffett or Donald Trump.

God is giving each of us the opportunity. . .the power to get wealth.

# 4       it’s a gift!

What kind of gifts does your Heavenly Father want to give you?

Good gifts. . .advantageous gifts.

I James 1:17 says:

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

# 5       God is giving you the POWER to get wealth.

The Hebrew word for power in Deuteronomy 8:18 is koach (H3581) means:

“strength, power, might; strength (of angels; and the power (of God)”

I’m about to speak a five-word sentence. . .the reality of which can change your life forever.  Here it is:  God is giving you power.”

# 6       God is giving you the power to get WEALTH.

God is giving you the power. . .for wealth. . .not just to pray a nice prayer.

God is giving you a heart for those less fortunate.  But if you’re broke … all you can do is wish them a better life.

Wealth and wisdom go hand in hand.

Ecclesiastes 7:11-12 in the Message Bible says:

“Wisdom is better when it's paired with money, Especially if you get both while you're still living. Double protection: wisdom and wealth! Plus this bonus: Wisdom energizes its owner.”

# 7       God will never give you something unless He expects you to use it….

God has given each of us the power to get wealth.  How does God expect us to use and manifest His power in our finances?

Let’s create an acronym for P.O.W.E.R.

Sixth, generosity is growing.

Proverbs 11:24:

“There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.”

The Contemporary English Version says:

“. . .you can become rich by being generous or poor by being greedy.”

To expand your horizon and increase your opportunities, then you must be a giver.

Proverbs 11:24 in the Message Bible says:

“The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.”

A generous giver is blessed in everything they do.

Deuteronomy 15:10 in the New Living Translation says:

“Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.”

The Message Bible translation of Deuteronomy 15:10 says it this way:

Give freely and spontaneously. Don't have a stingy heart. The way you handle matters like this triggers God, your God's, blessing in everything you do, all your work and ventures. There are always going to be poor and needy people among you. So I command you: Always be generous, open purse and hands, give to your neighbors in trouble, your poor and hurting neighbors.”

There is only one way to limit the money that comes into your hand. . .and it has nothing to do with your circumstances, situations or problems.

2 Corinthians 9:6in the New Living Translation says:

“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.  Anything that you hold tightly in your hand. . .will never be released to become a blessing.”

The scripture is clear:  a person who does not give generously. . .one who holds onto what they perceive to be all they have because of the current financial uncertainty . . . will only find greater economic distress.

2 Corinthians 9:11 in the New Living Translation says:

“Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. ..”

Once again, the scripture says “YOU WILL be enriched in every way.”

The scripture doesn’t say some ways. . .a few ways. . .no, it says EVERY WAY.

Seventh, Money is multiplying.

I’m fairly certain that if you’ve listened to very many of my teachings you’re familiar with money. . .how it’s for movement. . .and yes, multiplication.

Genesis 1:28 says:

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

The word multiply is the Hebrew word rabah (H7235) which according to Strong’s Concordance means:

“be or become great; become many; become numerous; multiply (of people, animals, things); make great; and do much.”

The very first thing God told Adam wasn’t to go to church; read his Bible; `visit the sick; no, the very first thing He told him was to multiply.

The word H7235 is translated 226 times in the King James Version of the Bible.  It’s significant to note that 74 times it’s translated as multiply; 40 times as increase; 29 times as much; 24 times as many and 8 times as more.

God used the word multiply with regards to animals. . .populating the earth with man through Seth and Enos.  However, it’s clear to me that God isn’t just talking about population when He says multiply.

In Genesis 17:2 God says:

“And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.”

You gotta also love Genesis 22:17 which says:

“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;”

God wants to multiply everything you have. . .your silver, gold, investments, real estate and all that you have.

This is pretty clear in Deuteronomy 8:13:

“And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;”

The scripture says that multiplication is involved in acquisition and possession of all that God has planned for you.

Deuteronomy 8:1 says:

“All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.”

God also wants to promote you. . .to multiply your success beyond that of family members who’ve gone before you.

Deuteronomy 30:5 says:

“And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.”

When we live out His Word by obeying His commandments, then God will bless and multiply you. . .no matter where you live.

There are some folks who believe God can only bless or multiply them in certain locations.  The bottom line is if you are where God wants you to be, He can bless you because you’re following His divine directives.

Deuteronomy 30:16 says:

“In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.”

God wants to and will multiply your money wherever you are.
