7 Steps To A Miracle Harvest

. .

You Can Experience Miracle Manifestation In Your Life Now…..

Here are 7 Steps on how you can personally experience a Miracle Manifestation:

1.         You’ve got to believe in miracles

Psalm 86:8,10 in the New Living Translation says:

“Nowhere among the pagan gods is there a god like you, O Lord.  There are no othermiracles like yours.  For you are great and perform great miracles.  You alone are God.”

You serve a God of Miracles.  A miracle is the supernatural intervention of God in the problems of your life.

By believing in the power of God, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

At some point in your life you will either be forced to live in the potential of your faith or with the consequences of your doubt.

Mark 9:23 says:

Jesus said unto him, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”

Jesus—15 times in New Testament—said: Hear and understand

Every time He spoke of one of His BIG parables…he said, “I need you to hear this but I really need you to understand.”

Hearing changes nothing…..understanding brings direction and action into our lives….

When I understanding something, my life will change

One of my favorite passages of scripture is found in Luke chapter 5….you’ve heard it preached many times…in fact, I’ve preached it before….but recently God allowed me to look at this scripture in a totally different manner……

In referring to this passage most folks call it a miracle…but I think it was a moment of understanding….

Luke 5:1-2 says:

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, and saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.”

Let’s study Luke 5:3 for a moment…..

And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.”

Have you ever wondered why Jesus taught first…before the miracles took place?

Why didn’t Jesus just tell Peter to cast his nets to the other side, get some fish, have a fish fry and give Him a pat on his miracle-working back.

Put yourself in Peter’s shoes ... he’d been fishing all night long….he’d caught nothing…now the boat is cleaned and he’s ready to go to Denny’s for the breakfast special.

If Jesus had walked up and just said, cast your nets out into the deep on the other side of the boat, Peter would have probably said, “Sorry  I’m going to eat breakfast then I’m going home to sleep.”

Peter would have heard Jesus’ words but he would not have understood.

We are not told why Peter made an unusual response when Jesus requested to use his boat from which to teach.  But it seems obvious that Peter had enough respect to honor Jesus by saying, “Okay.”

The reason Jesus taught first is that He knew He must first get Peter and the others to understand … the miracle working power of God.

Luke 5:4-5 says:

Now when he had left speaking (teaching), he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”

Miracle manifestation came into their lives once they understood.

Peter might have been skeptical but because of what he heard, he decided to step out into the unknown.

Now here’s another question for you…did Jesus make the fish appear?

No, the fish were there all the time.  The miracle was always there Peter just had to have his understanding increased to receive one.

The fish were there…but Peter had to changed his perception…..He said, Master we have toiled all night long….but at your word, we’ll let down the net.”

Peter’s faith had increased because his understanding had increased.

Here’s a fact, what you perceive will become your reality.  That’s why it’s so important that you perceive the right things.

There are so many financial opportunities out there….but you must have your understanding increased.

Once we get the understanding of the principles in our hearts, it allows us to put our nets where the miracles are waiting.

2.         Visualize Your Miracle

God begins every miracle with a mental photograph.  This is normal.  Every architect draws a picture before the building begins.

The couch or the chairs you’re setting in. . .someone visualized it before it ever became a reality.

Visualize your miracle….

Write this down. . .I need to visualize my miracle.

God’s promise is so very important because every Bible hero has had to start right here. . .by visualizing their miracle.

Abraham could not receive from God until he saw himself the way God intended him to be. God wanted him to be the father of many nations. However, Abraham saw himself childless. As long as this unscriptural vision of himself prevailed, no miracle child could come to Abraham.

Hear the unbelief that filled Abraham's imagination:

Genesis 15:2 says:

"...Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless."

Can you just imagine God saying:

"Abraham, I can't give you a child if you don't see yourself with a child. I want you to get a fresh, new vision of the countless generations I am going to give you."

Scripture tells us that everything changed as soon as Abraham began to see himself receiving from God.

Genesis 15:5 says:

“And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them, and he said unto him.  So shall thy seed be.”

Abraham visualized his generations of children every time he beheld the stars at night.

I’ll share with you one other example of visualizing your miracle.

Joshua 1:4 says:

"From the wilderness . . . even unto the great river Euphrates, all the land... shall be your coast."

Notice that God is always very specific about the vision He gives His people. He didn't say "....just go and pick out any old piece of land." He had a choice, handpicked piece of real estate in mind for them.

Use your memory.  Replay past victories.  Use your imagination to pre-play in your mind those miracles that your heart has desired from the Lord.

3.         Focus your Faith

Early this morning. . .God gave me a very powerful statement. . .which you and I need to get down in our spirits.

Don't focus on your setbacks...spend your time planning your comeback.

I’ve said numerous times before that our focus will either be a destiny maker or a destiny breaker. . .we desire.

When it comes to miracle manifestation. . .we must focus our faith. . .and we must be specific.

In fact, you need to be very specific when you ask God for a miracle.

Be exact in your request for a specific salary increase or business opportunity.  Don’t simply ask for “more” money.

Focus on the particular need you want God to meet.  Don’t let anyone’s attitude or words distract you.

Matthew 7:9-11 says:

Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?  Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?   If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

Here’s how Matthew 7:1-11 in the Message Bible says it:

"Don't bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn't a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we're in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn't think of such a thing. You're at least decent to your own children. So don't you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?”

When you get specific with God…He gets specific with you.

Focus your faith….on the miracle that you desire.

4.      Choose A Prayer Partner

You cannot trust everyone with your private thoughts or problems.

But, you need someone.  One cannot multiply.  Two is the secret to multiplication.

Jesus introduced the Formula for Prayer Power.  It’s called the prayer of agreement.  Don’t ignore it.

Matthew 18:19 says:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

Matthew 18:18-20 in the Message Bible says:

"Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I'll be there."

5.      Sow A Miracle Seed

Your seed is anything you do that helps another.  It may be information, encouragement, or even finances.  Whatever it is, your seed is always your door out of trouble.

Job sowed a prayer of deliverance for his three friends.  Then, God turned Job’s captivity around.

David stopped a tragedy by offering a special offering to the Lord.

When you let go of what is in your Hand, God will let go of what is in His Hand.

2 Samuel 24:25 says:

“And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.”

 Luke 6:38 says:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

Luke 6:38 in the New Living Translation says:

If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving--large or small--it will be used to measure what is given back to you."

6.     Expect Miracles

You have listened.  You have heard and understood.  You have obeyed the instructions of God. Now expect miracles.

I have found that the miracles of God often come from an unusual response…..

The blind man who allowed Jesus to put gritty mud in his eyes!

John 9:6-7 in The Living Bible says:

[Jesus] spat on the ground and make clay [mud] with his saliva and he spread it…on the man’s eyes.  He said “Go wash in the Pool of Siloam”….  So He went and washed and came back seeing.”

Think back to the blind folks you’ve met, and you’ll realize that almost all of them have sensitive, eyes that are easily irritated.  Most folks with blind eyes would immediately say, “No Sir, not on your life.  You’re not putting that gritty mud in my eyes.”

Those who would give this usual response would go home as blind as before.  However, this blind man made a most unusual response, “Yes Lord, you may put mud in my eyes and I will go and wash as you say.”  HIS UNUSUAL RESPONSE brought a quick response from God.

#2.   The deaf man with a speech impediment that allowed Jesus to put spit from His own mouth into His mouth.

Mark 7:32-34 in paraphrased The Living Bible says:

“A deaf man with a speech impediment was brought to [Jesus]….  Jesus led him away… and put His fingers into the man’s ears, then [Jesus] spit and touched the man’s tongue with the spittle… He commanded, `Open.’  Instantly the man could hear perfectly and speak plainly.”

Now here is a most unusual response.  Jesus wants to put spit from His mouth into the mouth of this afflicted stranger.  You already know what the usual response to this would be…”NO!  Don’t you even dare to do that!  I’m deaf but not crazy.”

However, we are forced to see that the unusual response of allowing another person’s spit to be put into His mouth brought total healing to this man.

#3.   The first church split ever recorded involved a most unusual response. Hear it from John 6:46-58 which says:

“He who feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood dwells continuously in me and I in him. When His disciples heard this, many of them said, “This is a hard, difficult and strange message… who can be expected to listen to such teaching?” After this many of His disciples drew back…and no longer accompanied Him. Jesus said to the twelve, Will you also go away?  Simon Peter answered, “To whom shall we go?  You have the words of eternal life.”

The usual response is evident here.  Who would want to eat someone’s flesh and drink their blood?  “Good bye.  We are not going to follow you any more.”

However, there were twelve that stayed with Him and ate His flesh and drank His blood in the same way that millions have done in the solemn act of communion for over 2000 years.

Now here’s the most powerful part of the apostles’ unusual decision to stay with Jesus.

Nowhere in recorded history can you find the name of even one of those who made the usual decision and walked away, but every nation and all civilized history know the names of the twelve that made the unusual decision to stay with Jesus and eat His flesh and drink His blood.  They are the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ.

What will it take for you to achieve the manifestation of the miracle or miracles that you need in your life?  You are going to have to make the unusual response.

7.      Never Give Up

There is one other key to you miracle harvest. . .never giving up believing in the manifestation of your miracle.

Luke 18:1 in the New Living Translation says:

“One day Jesus told his disciples a story to illustrate their need for constant prayer and to show them that they must never give up.”

I’ve heard some people say. . . “I’ve sowed and sowed. . .when am I going to receive my miracle harvest?”

First, you must never doubt or give up.  If God directed you to sow the seed and you sowed the exact amount He told you where He directed you to. . .then you will receive a harvest.

It’s not a matter of if you will receive the harvest … just when.

Galatians 6:9 says:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

The Greek word for due is idios (G2398) and it means:

“pertaining to one's self, one's own, belonging to one's self”and it is primarily translated as his own.

The Greek word for season is kairos (G2540) and it means:

“due measure; a measure of time, a larger or smaller portion of time, hence; opportune or seasonable time; the right time.”

In other words, this scripture is saying that if you don’t get weary than you will reap a harvest in your own right time.

The New Living Translation of Galatians 6:9 says it this way:

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

One more scripture.

2 Timothy 3:10 in the New Century Version says:

“[Obey the Teachings ] But you have followed what I teach, the way I live, my goal, faith, patience, and love. You know I never give up.”
