2020: A Year Of Miracle Manifestation

. .

Are things in your life better or different than they on January 1, 2020?

If not, why not or more importantly. . .are you willing to do something about it?

2 Thessalonians 1:11 in the New Living Translation says:

“So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.”

If you want to know what we’ve been doing on your behalf since January 1st. . .the answer is found in this verse.

First, we’ve been praying for you.

Second, we’ve been asking God to help you live a life worthy of His call.

Third, we’ve asked Him daily to allow you to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit.

Fourth, we’ve prayed this way so you can do all your faith prompts you to do.

Now, ask yourself. . .how have you been praying?

If you are serious about reaching your goals for 2020, we encourage you to commit to Rich Thoughts for Breakfast every day.

It is the easiest thing to do to encourage yourself every dayyou can listen while getting ready for work, driving in the car, making breakfast, eating lunch…anytime within the 24 hour period until the next day.

Every day we give you a large dose of motivation for godly living with a number of scriptures to back it up. There’s something for everyone who wants to do great things for God who is looking for His help.

Here are seven rhetorical questions Jesus asked us to think about, meditate and act on.

1.       What are you looking for?

Do you know what you want to achieve? Did you write out your response to Revelation 1:19 which we believe is a key scripture to your making 2020 your Year Of Miracle Manifestation.

In the King James Version. . .the verse says:

“Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.”

Make no mistake. . .your Heavenly Father. . .the Creator of heaven and earth is asking each of us a very powerful question.

John 1:38 in The Living Bible says:

“Jesus looked around and saw them following. “What do you want?” he asked them. “Sir,” they replied, “where do you live?”

If Jesus were asking us what we want. . .and He is. . .what would be your response?

Have you kept your goals in the forefront of your mind since New Year’s Day?

Do you really know what you’re looking for or what you want?

Here’s the bottom line. . .if you don’t know what you want out of life. . .it is certain you’ll never get it.

If you don’t know what you’re looking for. . .you’ll never find it.

Here’s another question from Jesus.

2.       Do you understand all these things?

You can’t have faith for what you don’t have knowledge of.

You simply can’t believe for something you don’t know or think is true. If you’ve never heard of anyone getting healed by prayer or you were raised to believe it wasn’t true … it would be difficult to have faith to receive it.

If you were raised to believe you’d always be poor you would certainly have trouble having faith for God to move in your finances.

BUT once you begin to see that healing or financial prosperity can be yours … the revelation of the knowledge begins to work faith that is dynamic in its effect

What happened when Jesus began healing the sick, even raising the dead?

People began coming from all over … bringing their sick for Him to touch.

Mark 2:3-4 in New International Version says:

Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them.Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.When Jesus saw their faith..,”

This group of men were so certain of Jesus ability to heal… they dug through the tiles of a roof to get there friend to where Jesus could heal him. They heard and received the knowledge which gave them the faith to act on it.

Again the woman with the issue of blood learned that Jesus had a healing touch, Matthew 9:21 records: She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.

Knowledge is powerful and the Word is full of scriptures that allow us to gain the knowledge we need to succeed if we spend the time necessary to understand them to the point that we begin to act on them in faith.

Proverbs 2:9-11 in the New Living Translation says:

“Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.”

When you gain understanding. . .you gain so much more.

Proverbs 1:5 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

The wise also will hear and increase in learning, and the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain to sound counsel [so that he may be able to steer his course rightly].”

How do you get wisdom, knowledge and understanding? The same way everybody else does. . .you ask for it. . .you seek it. . .then you shall find it.

Matthew 7:7 in the New Living Translation says:

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

We don’t have wisdom, knowledge and understanding because we’re not asking for it.

James 4:2 in the New Living Translation says:

“You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.”

I want to read the last fourteen words of this verse one more time.

“Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.”

If you don’t understand how to do what He directed you to do on January1st. . .have you asked Him for direction and instruction?   Have you asked Him to direct you to the right mentor?

We don’t have because we don’t ask. It’s time to change our approach.

All you need to know … is the next step to take.

3.       Do you really believe I can do this?

Matthew 9:27-29 says:

“And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.”

The more pressing question for us. . .is not whether or not Jesus can heal the sick. . .turn our finances around. . .save our family members and restore our relationships. The real question is do you believe He will do this for you.

Do you believe God wants this to be your Year of Miracle Manifestation?

Do you believe God is no respecter of persons and what He’s done for others He will do for you?

Do you believe God can deliver you out of bondage just as He did the children of Israel?

We have to believe that God will do. . .what His Word says He will do.

No matter what roadblocks or obstacles you’ve faced in the first 43 days of this year. . .you’ve got to know that the desire of God’s heart is to turnaround things and circumstances in your life.

Numbers 23:19 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?”

We must believe that not only can God do what His Word says He will do. . .but He’s waiting to do it.

4.       So why do you worry?

If you haven’t made the progress you wanted in this New Year or if you’ve faced a major attack. . .there are two words that should guide your thoughts.

If the enemy can get us to worry. . .he is keeping us from moving by faith.

F.F. Bosworth, the author of “Christ The Healer” once said, “Faith and doubt can’t live in the same house.”

Matthew 6:28-30 in the New Living Translation says:

“And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? “

Here are seven ways to keep worry out of your life …

First, read your Bible.

Second, enter into His presence through prayer.

Third, read books that motivate you to trust Him more.

Fourth, listen to audio teachings that inspire you beginning with Rich Thoughts for Breakfast.

Fifth, get plenty of rest (relative to what your body requires).

Sixth, plan your day. . .and work your plan.

Seventh, avoid the tyranny of the urgent. . .doing everything at the last minute as if time is running out.

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

Matthew 6:27 in the New Living Translation says:

"Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?”

Anytime you start to worry. . .just quote Psalm 23:1 in the Classic Amplified Bible which says:

“The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.”

Or personalize Philippians 4:6

“<<Your Name>> will be anxiousfornothing, butin everythingby prayerand supplication, with thanksgiving, let <<his/her>> requests be known to God.”

5.       Who touched me?

If you believe 2020 to be your Year of Miracle Manifestation, it’s going to take a total commitment.

No patty cake preaching. . .no reading your Bible when you get around to it. . .not doing what you’ve always done at home or work. . .and definitely not praying only when it’s convenient.

Remember when we talked about the woman with the issue of blood? She was convinced the Jesus had exactly what she needed for a breakthrough.

Luke 8:45-47 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“And Jesus said, Who is it who touched Me? When all were denying it, Peter and those who were with him said, Master, the multitudes surround You and press You on every side! But Jesus said, Someone did touch Me; for I perceived that [healing] power has gone forth from Me.”

When you and I read the word touch we think of a light, gentle, faint tap with a finger or hand. Secular dictionaries confirm that definition.

However, it’s not the definition of touched I found in the Strong’s Concordance.

The Greek word for touched is haptomai (G680) and it means:

“to fasten one's self to, adhere to, cling to.”

If you want God to move in your life and especially in your finances. . .it’s going to take more than a light touch of faith. . .you’ll need to fasten, adhere and cling to His Word. . .making it one with you.

Too many believers think that a light touch or momentary embrace of the Word is going to be a panacea. . .or solve all their problems. Not necessarily so.

If you want to feel or experience the supernatural power of God in your life. . .you have to reach out and grab a hold of the Word and not let it go.

This is how your will turn 2020 around to be your year of destiny.

6.       How long do I have to put up with this?

We often look at Jesus as loving and kind and He is … but He also saw Him not putting up with nonsense from the religious leaders and those who should know better.

I want each of us to carefully think about the three questions I’m going to ask you. . .then focus on the fourth and last one..

Are you tired of things not going the way you planned or thought they would go?

Do you ever wonder how much longer you’ll have to live in debt and lack?

Are you frustrated by what you know ought to be done. . .and could be done. . .but is not happening?

Finally, how do you think God feels about each of us not doing. . .what He knows we can do,

Matthew 17:17 in the Message Bible says:

“Jesus said, “What a generation! No sense of God! No focus to your lives! How many times do I have to go over these things? How much longer do I have to put up with this? Bring the boy here.” He ordered the afflicting demon out—and it was out, gone. From that moment on the boy was well.”

As I read and re-read the verse. . .it became very clear that God wants us to focus on the phrase:

“How much longer do I have to put up with this?”

Have you ever uttered that phrase? Were you happy when you said itor were you unhappy about something or someone?

I’m fairly confident that you weren’t happy when you said those words and neither is the Lord. He wasn’t happy then and I’m sure He’s not happy with some of us today or He would not have directed me to address this right here and right now.

How much longer will we live our lives just going through the motions? Living in a comfort zone. . .that never stretches our abilities or fully utilizes the gifts and talents God has placed within us.

Someone once said:

“You will never leave where you are, until you decide where you’d rather be.”

It’s time to commit afresh and anew to your destiny.

7.       What do you want me to do for you?

Now there is one question Jesus asked that appears in seven verses in scripture. It’s the one question. . .He asked more than any other.

Matthew 20:32 in The Living Bible says:

“When Jesus came to the place where they were, he stopped in the road and called, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Sir,” they said, “we want to see!”

What do you want?

I encourage you to think about that question.

If Jesus were to ask you what you wanted? How would you respond?

We need to be specific in our requests. We serve a God of specificity.

If you need a healing or a loved one saved … be specific.

If you want to serve God or be a blessing to a church or ministry. . .be specific.

If you need more money or a change in your financial situation . . . how would you specifically word your request?

“What do you want me to do for you?” is a question. . .He asked then. . .but He’s still asking today.

Here are seven scriptural reasons 2020 can and will be your Year Of Miracle Manifestation.

First, be free from the bondage of debt, lack and the impossible.

Psalm 35:27 in the King James Version says:

Let them shout for joy and be glad that favor my righteous cause; yea, let them say continually, “Let theLordbe magnified who hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Second, trusting God makes the impossible. . .possible.

Matthew 19:26 in the Message Bible says:

“Jesus looked hard at them and said, “No chance at all if you think you can pull it off yourself. Every chance in the world if you trust God to do it.”

Third, the ultimate source of our victory.

Romans 8:37 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.”

Fourth, strategies beyond our comprehension.

Ephesians 3:20 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].”

Fifth, no task, challenge or opportunity is too great.

Philippians 4:13 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”

Sixth, our success and victory are guaranteed.

Mark 11:24 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].”

Seventh, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

John 14:12 says:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

Now, let me quickly share with you seven things keys to making the impossible…possible.

1.       Read, believe, confess and act on the promises of God.

2.       Start where you are with what you’ve got.

3.       Begin every day with supernatural expectation.

4.       Do something to help someone else make the impossible…possible in       their lives.

5.       Operate in the Office of the Giver.

6.       Maximize your effectiveness by networking.

7.       If God woke you up this morning…He’s not through with you yet.

Child of God, my fine wife and I are with you on your journey through 2020. We’re praying for you to experience and immediate turnaround and for your destiny to be fulfilled.
