Exposing 12 Lies Of The Enemy

. .

You have an enemy of your destiny who wants you to fail in everything your hands find to do. He uses three weapons. . .temptation, accusation and deception.

One you get born-again the devil wants to neutralize your effectiveness for the Kingdom of God. He will lie to you about everything. . .because after all, he's the father of lies and the truth is not in him.

John 8:44 Classic Amplified Bible says:

“You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.”

The devil is not stupid. . . but he keeps using the same tricks, traps, lies, wiles and deception all the time.

In this teaching. . .we’re going to expose twelve of the greatest lies of the devil. But, first, we want to encourage you in the midst in any adversity with two powerful scriptures.

First, Colossians 3:16 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts.”

Second, Hebrews 4:12 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.”

It’s to start the expose of the devil’s temptation, accusation and deception.

1. You will never be satisfied with what you have and discontentment will be your constant companion.

Psalm 145:16 in the New Living Translation says:

“When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.”

Psalm 36:8 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

They relish and feast on the abundance of Your house; and You cause them to drink of the stream of Your pleasures.”

Jeremiah 31:14 in the New Living Translation says:

“The priests will enjoy abundance, and my people will feast on my good gifts. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

2. You are not good enough, smart enough or spiritual enough to receive anything from God.

Luke 15:21-22 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son [I no longer deserve to be recognized as a son of yours]!

22 “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet.”

Luke 15:24 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“Because this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found! And they began to revel and feast and make merry.”

3. You will never win any of the battles in life. The adversary is too strong. You don’t have the skill set to win. Plus, you’ll just probably quit before you finish your journey.

1 Samuel 17:46-47 in the New Living Translation says:

“Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! 47 And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”

Not matter how great the odds against you. . .the Lord will give you the victory. In fact, it will be an overwhelming victory.

2 Chronicles 20:15 in the King James Version says:

“And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.”

“Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”

4. It is impossible for you to completely change because you’ve got hidden habits that mistakenly think nobody else knows about. . .but God does. Don’t be a hypocrite or a lukewarm Christian.

“Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”

Philippians 1:6 in Classic Amplified Bible says:

“And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.”

5. You will always be broke. . .living from paycheck to Prozac. You will always talk about getting ahead. . .but you’re afraid to take the necessary steps to freedom.

Malachi 3:10 in the New Living Translation says:

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”

Psalm 24:5 in the New Living Translation says:

“They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior.”

6. Nobody will ever love you. . .you’ll be single and alone all the days of your life. People will not accept you because you’re different. . .a disappointment.

Ephesians 1:6 in The Living Bible says:

“Now all praise to God for his wonderful kindness to us and his favor that he has poured out upon us because we belong to his dearly loved Son.”

1 John 4:10-11 in the New Living Translation says:

“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.”

7. You don’t know the will of God for your life. . .so you’re going to miss the opportunities He sends your way. You are going to miss God’s best.

Psalm 32:8 in the Classic Amplified Bible say:

“I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.”

The Message Bible of Psalm 32:8 concludes by saying:

“I’m looking you in the eye and giving it to you straight.”

Ephesians 5:17 in the Classic Amplified Bible say:

“Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.”

Ephesians 6:6 in the Message Bible says:

“Don’t just do what you have to do to get by, but work heartily, as Christ’s servants doing what God wants you to do. And work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving the orders, you’re really serving God.”

Colossians 1:9 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].”

8. God hasn’t forgotten the sinful lived you lived. He’s not completely forgiven you for all the horrible things you did. You done certain things for which you’ll never be forgiven.

Psalm 103:3 in the New Living Translation says:

“He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.”

1 John 1:9 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].”

Psalm 103:12 in the New Living Translation says:

“He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.”

Isaiah 1:18 in The Living Bible says:

“Come, let’s talk this over, says the Lord; no matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can take it out and make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you white as wool!”

9. You’ve missed your opportunities to do mighty things in the Kingdom of God. You’ve blown the things God has sent your way because of a lack of focus and more importantly, a lack of knowledge of the promises God made to you. You will always be a failure because God won’t give you a second chance.

Jonah 3:1 in the King James Version says:

“And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying. . .”

Mark 16:7 in the New Living Translation says:

“Now go and tell his disciples, including Peter, that Jesus is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you before he died.”

2 Timothy 4:11 in the King James Version says:

“Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.”

10. You will live a life of obscurity never doing the things you dreamed about. You will never flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit . . . you will never have the Resurrection power of God flowing through you. You will always doubt in your heart what your eyes cannot see.

Romans 10:8-11 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“8 But what does it say? The Word (God’s message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach,

9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.

11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.”

2 Chronicles 15:2 in the New Living Translation says:

“And he went out to meet King Asa as he was returning from the battle. “Listen to me, Asa!” he shouted. “Listen, all you people of Judah and Benjamin! The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you.”

Jeremiah 29:13 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

11. You don’t need God. . .you can figure out any problem by yourself because you are strong, intelligent and self-sufficient. You’re a good person you don’t need God. . .He’s only for the weak and the bad.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 in New Living Translation says:

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Hebrews 11:6 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].”

James 4:13-15 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a city and spend a year there and carry on our business and make money.

“Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are [really] but a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears [into thin air].

“You ought instead to say, If the Lord is willing, we shall live and we shall do this or that [thing].”

Proverbs 16:18 in the Message Bible says:

“First pride, then the crash—the bigger the ego, the harder the fall.”

12. Nobody will ever listen to you because you’re poor, uneducated and you don’t even know the Bible. You will always live in mediocrity talking about what you could’ve done. . .instead of what you did.

Acts 1:8 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.”

1 Corinthians 1:26-28

“26 For [simply] consider your own call, brethren; not many [of you were considered to be] wise according to human estimates and standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth.

27 [No] for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame.

28 And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn and insignificant and branded and treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose and bring to nothing the things that are.”

Exodus 4:10-12 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“10 And Moses said to the Lord, O Lord, I am not eloquent or a man of words, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and have a heavy and awkward tongue.

11 And the Lord said to him, Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the dumb, or the deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Is it not I, the Lord?

12 Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and will teach you what you shall say.”

There are many other lies of the devil. . .we only covered twelve of them

Here’s the bottom line. . .if the enemy of your destiny tells you that you can’t do something the Word of God says you can. . .then it’s a lie.

Anything that doesn’t line up with the Word or the unction of the Holy Spirit is a lie from the pit of hell.

Be wise. . .embrace the scriptures in this teaching and you WILL fulfill your divine destiny no matter what the enemy says or tries to do.
