Happy New Year. . .
2 Corinthians 5:17in the Amplified Bible says:
“Behold, the fresh and new has come!”
Hallelujah!!!
You’ve never had a year like 2025. . .
Say this with me “My problems of the past will not hinder my possibilities for this new year.
2025 is your year of unfulfilled promises…FULFILLED.
Three or four weeks ago, God directed me to encourage you to spend a minimum of 13 minutes each day implementing each of the following seven instructions during the first 13 days of 2025.
First, prayer
Second, reading His Word
Third, confessing His Word
Fourth, encouraging someone else
Fifth, planning Your Day
Sixth, praising Him For What He Did Yesterday
Seventh, reviewing, revising and redirecting your life away from hindrances, obstacles and problems. . .to your promises being fulfilled.
As I was praying about this first conference call of the new year. . .I asked the Lord for a Word to share with you. . .He gave me one word. . .EXPECTATION.
You must expect 2025. . .to be your year of unfulfilled promises FULFILLED.
We must begin each day filled with supernatural expectation about the manifestation of His presence, peace, protection, promises, power, promotion, provision and possibilities.
Psalm 5:3 in the New International Version says:
“In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."
God wants each of us to begin each new day in this new year with a positive expectancy about supernatural favor, divine connections, revelatory insight and yes, previously unknown opportunities and unused potential.
Our expectation must live in Him.
Psalm 62:5 says:
“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.”
Expectation for unfulfilled promises being FULFILLED will bring manifestation and His rewards.
Proverbs 24:14 in the Amplified Bible says:
“So shall you know skillful and godly Wisdom to be thus to your life; if you find it, then shall there be a future and a reward, and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off."
Don’t worry about the future.
The Message Bible translation of Proverbs 24:14 says:
“Likewise knowledge, and wisdom for your soul—Get that and your future's secured, your hope is on solid rock.”
Child of God, are you getting this? Our expectation secures our future and gives us a hope that immoveable.
Your future is secured when you expect to receive the manifestation of His best . . . all that He has to offer you.
Psalm 25:12 in The Living Bible says:
“Where is the man who fears the Lord? God will teach him how to choose the best.”
Make no mistake . . . it’s God’s will that you enjoy all the benefits He provides for you.
Perhaps another day. . .we will discuss His specific promises and His benefits.
But for today. . .and every day that follows in 2025. . .we must greet the birth of every new day. . .filled with an expectation of His promises being fulfilled.
Every day before we go to bed. . .we should review our expectations for the following day. In fact, if you haven’t read “7 Things To Do Before You Go To Sleep” I strongly encourage you to visit haroldherring.com and do so. It is the most popularly read blog I have.
Do you expect to awaken renewed and refreshed each morning?
Do you expect to connect with His presence during your prayer, Bible reading and meditation time each morning?
Do you expect to find the parking place closest to your office or the main entrance to the mall?
Do you expect to receive favor in the workplace and with everyone you come in contact with?
Do you expect to meet someone who wants to be your mentor, counselor, new business associate, friend or someone who is aiming high to hang out with so you can encourage one another?
Do you expect someone to give you revelatory insight into either the Word or by something they’ve said, read or discovered?
Do you expect to receive a seven-fold return on everything the enemy. . .the thief has taken from you?
Do you expect every seed you sow will return a mega, bountiful or an abundant, overflowing harvest?
Do you expect the best every single moment of every single day?
You have the right to expect the manifestation of all His promises because it’s in the Word. But you must EXPECT your unfulfilled promises … FULFILLED.
From the time you open your eyes in the morning until you close them at night purpose to live in the expectation that Christ will be glorified by your faithfulness to fulfill all that He promised you in His Word.
If we begin our day with supernatural expectations from the rock of our salvation . . . we’ll never be disappointed.
Jeremiah 29:13 in the Message Bible says:
"When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." God's Decree. "I'll turn things around for you. . .You can count on it.’”
Proverbs 23:17-19 in the New Living Translation says:
“Don’t envy sinners, but always continue to fear the Lord. You will be rewarded for this; your hope will not be disappointed. My child, listen and be wise: Keep your heart on the right course.”
The scripture doesn’t say “you might be,” “you could be” or “you should be.” it says you WILL BE rewarded. Look to God as your rewarder and the world will not disappoint you.
But we have a part to play: We must expect our unfulfilled promises. . .to be FULFILLED.
Hallelujah. . . the best is yet to come!
