7 Steps to Guarantee Unlimited Financial Success

. .

When the words to this teaching stirred in my spirit. . .I immediately wrote down the seven steps to guarantee your unlimited financial success.

Next, I thought I would Google “guaranteed financial success” and “unlimited financial success.”

What I discovered was people trying to sell me something or get me involved in their network marketing programs. . .or to buy some subliminal New Age music for unlimited financial success.

Thanks. . .but no thanks.

You can be guaranteed unlimited financial success not by the words or music of men but rather by empowered and enlighten by the Word of God.

Here are seven steps. . .straight from the greatest success book ever written.

1.         Tithe. . .on everything so the windows of heaven can be opened over your life.

Before I get started on this first step. . .let me say if you’re one of the well-intentioned but scripturally inaccurate believers who think tithing is part of the old covenant and not the new. . .go to haroldherring.com and read “A Fresh Look At New Testament Tithing.”

Now for everybody else. . .let’s continue.

Malachi 3:10 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

Tithing is not conditional or based on your circumstances or needs at any given time.

There is no asterisk at the bottom of the page that exempts you from tithing if you’ve lost your job. . .or your hours were cut back. . .or if you needed to repair your car.

If the clothes in your closet, car in your driveway, the couch you’re sitting on, the computer you’re looking at or the house you’re living in has caused you to tithe irregularly  then the windows of heaven are closed over your life.  It’s as simple as that.

When you tithe. . .the windows of heaven open.  When you don’t tithe. . .they remain closed.

Why are the windows of heaven closed until you tithe. . .to keep thieves out.

Malachi 3:8 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Will a man rob or defraud God? Yet you rob and defraud Me. But you say, In what way do we rob or defraud You? [You have withheld your] tithes and offerings.”

However, when you do what God says. . .when you give tithes and offerings, then you’re positioning yourself for the blessing of God . . . which is like a Mega Harvest from your heavenly Father.

When you give tithes and offerings. . .He will open the windows of heaven and pour

YOU, not somebody else, but YOU out a “. . . blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

I don’t know about you but I’ve got some pretty big rooms in my house and even if I only had a one room shack. . .that would still hold a lot of blessings.

There is only one place in the scriptures where God says to “prove me” or “put me to the test” and it’s in Malachi when it comes to giving and receiving.

I love how Malachi 3:10 reads in the Message Bible:

“Test me in this and see if I don't open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams.”

My wildest dreams. . .let me tell you God made me a dreamer. . .a believer who will take Him at His Word.

What are your wildest dreams?  Would you like to see them manifested?  Then obey, the Word of God. . .be a tither and a giver. . .not a robber and a sinner.

2.         Flow in spirit-led giving by sowing seeds over and above your tithes.

As I typed the title to this step. . .four things stirred in my spirit.

First, if we only tithe. . .we do not qualify for the great rewards.

Luke 17:10 says:

“Even so on your part, when you have done everything that was assigned and commanded you, say, We are unworthy servants [possessing no merit, for we have not gone beyond our obligation]; we have [merely] done what was our duty to do.”

“We have [merely] done what as our duty to do.”

Our tithes open the windows of heaven. . .but our offerings determine the amount, frequency and intensity of the blessing flow.

When we tithed. . .we’re just giving back to God what already belongs to Him.

When we give offerings. . .we’re exercising our faith. . .by putting a demand on His Word.

When it comes to offerings. . .suggest each of us remember Proverbs 11:24-25 in The Living Bible which says:

“It is possible to give away and become richer!  It is also possible to hold on too tightly and lose everything.  Yes, the liberal man shall be rich!  By watering others, he waters himself.”

Second, every time you sow. . .expect to receive a harvest.

Luke 6:38 in the New Living Translation says:

“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

“The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

There is nothing wrong. . .with expecting a return from what you sow.  When God gave the most expensive gift ever. . .He expected a return.

Scripture….gave to receive sons and daughters….

Third, the right way to respond when someone gives you a gift. . .unexpected or otherwise.

1.         Look them in the eyes

2.         Join hands with them

3.         Pray for God to multiply the seed they just sowed.

Fourth, God’s already done what He’s going to do for you financially.

You may have the biggest pity party in the world. . .but God will never feel sorry for you.

Why?  Because He’s already given you everything you need to turn things around in your life.

God is not moved by your needs but by your faith

Matthew 9:29 says:

“Be it done according to your faith.”

Doesn’t say. . .it will be done according to your needs.

Doesn’t say. . .it will be done according to what you’re going through at the moment.

Jesus paid a very high price. . .for you and I have, enjoy and possess wealth.

Never allow the enemy to multiply your doubts about your harvest.. .rather insure your harvest by exercising your faith in His Word and precious promises.

One more thing. . .your harvest is not determine by the current economic climate. . .a stimulus package from Washington. . .or anything or anybody else.

Your harvest will always be determined by your faith in His Word and what you do as a result of that faith.

3.         Put pressure on the word by exercising your faith for the harvest.

Isaiah 55:11 in the Amplified Bible says:

“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

When you press the Word. . .you gotta know the words coming out of your mouth will not be lost, wasted, empty or without success.

The spoken Word cannot be stopped, changed, deleted, erased, short-circuited or come back empty handed.  Not only that. . .the Word has the ability to make something out of nothing.

When you press the Word. . .it will accomplish what it promised.  As you press the Word. . .the windows of heaven will open up and pour you out a blessing that you can’t contain.

The Message Bible translation of Isaiah 55:11 says:

“So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They'll do the work I sent them to do, they'll complete the assignment I gave them.”

When you press the Word. . .you’re exercising your faith in His Word and you will empower yourself for immediate and unlimited financial success.

4.         Rebuke the devourer of your financial increase and success.

Malachi 3:11 says:

“And I will rebuke the devourer. . .”

If God rebukes the devourer for our sakes. . .we should be doing the same thing.

A failure to tithe is an open invitation for the enemy to lay waste to your financial resources and your life. . .for that matter.

If we fail to tithe. . .we give the “devourer” full access to the resources and provisions of our lives.

The devourer is a he, a person.  In John 10:10, Jesus called the destroyer “the thief”

“The thief [the devil] does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”

The purpose of the destroyer is render you ineffective to neutralize your usefulness to the Kingdom of God.

Our financial success is not just dependent on the brilliance of the plan or the idea, but we must defeat the devourer.  We rebuke the devourer out of our lives by the power and authority of the Word.

When Jesus rebukes something, it is gone!

In Mark 4:39 Jesus rebuked the wind, and it ceased.  He rebuked the stormy seas, and they calmed down.

In Mark 9:25 Jesus rebuked the demon of deafness, and it left  the boy.

In Matthew 17:18  Jesus rebuked a self-destructive spirit out of a boy and it left him.

In Mark 1:25 Jesus rebuked an unclean spirit out of a person in the synagogue, and it left him.

In Luke 4:39 Jesus rebuked the fever in Peter’s mother-in-law and it left her.

It’s time for you to rebuke. . .the financial devourer out of your life.

Make this command. . .a part of your daily life.

“Satan, I command you to cease and desist in your attacks against my harvest.  I’m sending notice that I will not tolerate or allow you to rob, steal or harass my harvest.  In the name of Jesus, I expose your deceptions and I bind your powers according to Matthew 18:18 and command on you on the authority of the Word to immediately release my harvest.  Amen and Hallelujah!!”

5.         Empower your angels to bring forth your harvest based on the words of your mouth.

Psalm 34:7 says:

“The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.”

The Message Bible translation of Psalm 34:7 says:

“God's angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray.”

His Angels minister to us.

Hebrews 1:14 says:

“Are they [angels (vs 13)] not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”

In the Strong’s Concordance ministering is the Greek word leitourgikos (G3010) and it means:  “relating to the performance of service, employed in ministering.”

However, G3010 is from the same root word leitourgeō (G3008) and. . .it means:

“to assume an office which must be administered at one's own expense.”

Now get ready for the this: the word ministering also means:

“to do a service, perform a work of those who aid others with their resources, and relieve their poverty.”

As I read the word resources, the Lord brought Ephesians 3:16 in the New Living Translation to my attention:

“I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.”

Angels have unlimited resources in ministering to you.

6.         Read, mediate, personalize and confess the scriptures referring to your financial security.

Proverbs 13:3 in the New Living Translation says:

“Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.”

If you want to experience unlimited financial success you need to control the words coming out of your mouth.

Here’s a 1-2-3 scriptural progression for the right words to come out of your mouth and into your life.

First, Romans 12:2 in the New Living Translation says:

“Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.”

Second, Philippians 2:5 in the New Living Translation says:

“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”

Third, Luke 6:45 says:

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

And there are so many more…

“Out of the abundance of the heart … the mouth speaks”   Matthew 12:34

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”   Proverbs 18:21

“… you can have whatsoever you say …”   Mark 11:23

What you say. . .is what you get.

7.         It’s not if. . .it’s when.

Galatians 6:9 in the Amplified Bible says:

“And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.”

In this scripture in Galatians 6:9 we are given four very specific directives in order to reap. . .unlimited financial success.

1.         Do not lose heart.

2.         Do not grow weary.

3.         Do not faint in acting nobly.

4.         Do not faint in doing right.

The King James Version of Galatians 6:9 says that in due season we will reap if we faint not.  The Greek word for due season literally means the right time.

You will reap at the right time. . .if you do not lose your hope.

You will reap at the right time. . .if you have courage.

You will reap at the right time. . .if you do not faint.

It’s clear that you should never doubt. . .nor give up while waiting for your harvest.

What should you do. . .while waiting for your unlimited financial success.

Get ready to shout. . .as we look at Isaiah 40:28  in the Amplified Bible which says:

“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.”

In other words, the scripture says. . .how many times do I have to tell you this?  Have you not been reading my instructions and listening to my voice?  I haven’t changed my mind or my promises to you.

What you sow. . .that and that only will you reap.

Isaiah 40:29 in the Amplified Bible says:

“He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound].”

Are you hearing/seeing this. . . “He gives power to the faint and weary.”  Could that be you?

We’re not just talking about any kind of power. . .we’re talking about the resurrection power of God flowing through you and working on your behalf.

Not only does He give you power. . .but He is increasing your strength.

Now there is one other thing. . .which I feel led to include in this teaching.

Haggai 1:7 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways (your previous and present conduct) and how you have fared.”

Here’s the question. . .what’s keeping unlimited financial success from our house?  Perhaps, it’s how we treat His house.

Haggai 1:8 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Go up to the hill country and bring lumber and rebuild [My] house, and I will take pleasure in it and I will be glorified, says the Lord [by accepting it as done for My glory and by displaying My glory in it].”

Let me be very clear.

If we’ve been using God’s money without His permission. . .there’s a hole in our bag.

If we’ve haven’t given what, when and where He told you to give. . .there’s a hole in our bag.

If we’re paying interest of any kind, there are holes in our financial “bag” or checkbook

God wants us to experience His unlimited financial success. . .but we must consider our ways.
