Here is the teaching outline for SUNDAY NITE LIVE.  Join us at 6 PM EST.

Matthew 7:12 KJV

“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”

Matthew 7:12 AMP

“So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets.”

Matthew 7:12 MSG

“Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God's Law and Prophets and this is what you get.”

1.         What God expects of you.

Mark 12:30-31 AMP

“And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment.

“The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Luke 10:27 NLT

“The man answered, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Romans 13:8 KJV

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”

Romans 13:8 AMP

“Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one's fellowmen, meeting all its requirements].”

2.         Always asking questions

Luke 2:46 KJV

“And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.”

First, listen and learn before you ask your questions.

Second, think creatively. . .then write down your questions.

Third, realize the right question always precedes the right answer.

Fourth, remember you’re asking a question. . .not giving a speech.

Fifth, answering a question with a question. . .makes the other person think or come to some sort of self-realization.

Genesis 3:8-13 KJV

“And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.”

Think before you ask.

3.         What do you want people to do for you?

Ephesians 6:8 KJV

“Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.”

Ephesians 6:8 MSG

“Good work will get you good pay from the Master. . .”

Ephesians 6:8 NIV

“The Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does. . .”

Galatians 6:7 AMP

“Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.”

“There is a destiny that makes us brothers. None goes his way alone.  All that you pass into the lives of others will surely come back into your own.”

4.         Grab the initiative

“Initiative is doing the right thing without being told to do it.”

Luke 12:29-32 MSG

"What I'm trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don't be afraid of missing out. You're my dearest friends! The Father wants to give you the very kingdom itself.”

First, ask God for His direction and wisdom.

Second, make a commitment to step out in front.

Third, create a game plan.

Fourth, establish a timeline.

Fifth, monitor your progress.

Sixth, overcome any and all obstacles.

Seventh, enjoy your success as you give God the glory.

5.         Do it for them

6.         What does God’s Word say you get?

Luke 6:36 AMP

“So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these].”

Luke 6:37 AMP

“Judge not [neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure], and you will not be judged; do not condemn and pronounce guilty, and you will not be condemned and pronounced guilty; acquit and forgive and release (give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted and forgiven and released.”

Luke 6:38 AMP

“Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.”

7.         That’s what you get

Luke 6:31 LTN

“Do to others as you would like them to do to you.”

Ephesians 6:8 KJV

“Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.”
