Here is the teaching outline for SUNDAY NITE LIVE.  Join us at 6 PM (EST).

Psalm 16:5-6 KJV

“The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.”

Psalm 16:5-6 NLT

“Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing.  You guard all that is mine. The land you have given me is a pleasant land.  What a wonderful inheritance!”

Psalm 16:5-6 MSG

“My choice is you, God, first and only. And now I find I’m your choice! You set me up with a house and yard. And then you made me your heir!”

First, make the right choice.

1 Corinthians 12:31 AMP

“But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts and graces (the higher gifts and the choicest graces). And yet I will show you a still more excellent way [one that is better by far and the highest of them all--love].”

Second, you’re the only one who can make the choice.

1 Corinthians 8:9 AMP

“Only be careful that this power of choice (this permission and liberty to do as you please) which is yours, does not [somehow] become a hindrance (cause of stumbling) to the weak or over scrupulous [giving them an impulse to sin].”

Deuteronomy 11:26 NLT

“Look, today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse!”

Deuteronomy 30:11 NLT

“[The Choice of Life or Death] “This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you to understand, and it is not beyond your reach.”

Deuteronomy 30:10 NLT

“The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.”

Proverbs 2:11 NLT

“Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.”

Third, God must always be first.

Proverbs 3:4-6 TLB

“If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself.  In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.”

Psalm 90:17 NLT

“And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!”

Fourth, never put idols of any kind before God.

Exodus 20:3 KJV

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

Psalm 115:4 KJV

“Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.”

Psalm 106:36 KJV

“And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.”

Revelation 21:8 KJV

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Five, you’re the one He chose.

John 15:16 KJV

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

Leviticus 20:22-24 CEV

“Obey my laws and teachings. Or else the land I am giving you will become sick of you and throw you out. The nations I am chasing out did these disgusting things, and I hated them for it, so don't follow their example. I am the LORD your God, and I have promised you their land that is rich with milk and honey. I have chosen you to be different from other people.”

Sixth, better than a chicken in every pot.

Deuteronomy 6:11 AMP

“And houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and hewn (excavated) cisterns (wells) which you did not dig out, and vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you eat and are full and satisfied,.”

Nehemiah 5:11 CEV

“You must restore their fields, vineyards, olive groves, and homes to them this very day. And repay the interest you charged when you lent them money, grain, new wine, and olive oil.”

Nehemiah to 9:25 CEV

“They captured strong cities and rich farmland; they took furnished houses, as well as cisterns, vineyards, olive orchards, and numerous fruit trees.  They ate till they were satisfied, and they celebrated your abundant blessings.”

Matthew 19:29 AMP

“And anyone and everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for My name's sake will receive many [even a hundred] times more and will inherit eternal life.”

Mark 10:30 AMP

“Who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time--houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions--and in the age to come, eternal life.”

Seventh, you’re family.

Romans 8:16-17 AMP

“For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.”

Romans 8:17 KJV

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. . .”

Galatians 3:29 AMP

“And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham's Seed], then you are Abraham's offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.”

Hebrews 9:15 AMP

“[Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an [entirely] new agreement (testament, covenant), so that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance--since a death has taken place which rescues and delivers and redeems them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement.”

Romans 4:20-21 KJV

“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”
