Here is the teaching outline for our special SUNDAY NITE LIVE Conference Call. Join us at 6 PM EST.
2 Thessalonians 1:11 NLT
“So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.”
First, we’ve been praying for you.
Second, we’ve been asking God to help you live a life worthy of His call.
Third, we’ve asked Him daily to allow you to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit.
Fourth, we’ve prayed this way so you can do all your faith prompts you to do.
Now, ask yourself. . .how have you been praying?
1. What are you looking for?
Revelation 1:19 KJV
“Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.”
John 1:38 TLB
“Jesus looked around and saw them following. “What do you want?” he asked them. “Sir,” they replied, “where do you live?”
Genesis 18:14 KJV
“I am the LORD! There is nothing too difficult for me. . .”
Matthew 19:26 KJV
“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”
Mark 9:23 GWT
“Jesus said to him, “As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes.”
Luke 1:37 AMPC
“For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”
2. Do you understand all these things?
Mark 2:3-4 NIV
“Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them.Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.When Jesus saw their faith…”
Proverbs 2:9-11 NLT
“Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.”
Proverbs 1:5 AMPC
“The wise also will hear and increase in learning, and the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain to sound counsel [so that he may be able to steer his course rightly].”
Matthew 7:7 NLT
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
James 4:2 NLT
“You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.”
3. Do you really believe I can do this?
Matthew 9:27-29 KJV
“And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.”
Numbers 23:19 AMPC
“God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?”
4. So why do you worry?
Matthew 6:28-30 NLT
“And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?”
Here are seven ways to keep worry out of your life …
First, read your Bible.
Second, enter into His presence through prayer.
Third, read books that motivate you to trust Him more.
Fourth, listen to audio teachings that inspire you beginning with Rich Thoughts for Breakfast.
Fifth, get plenty of rest (relative to what your body requires).
Sixth, plan your day. . .and work your plan.
Seventh, avoid the tyranny of the urgent. . .doing everything at the last minute as if time is running out.

5. Who touched me?

“And Jesus said, Who is it who touched Me? When all were denying it, Peter and those who were with him said, Master, the multitudes surround You and press You on every side! But Jesus said, Someone did touch Me; for I perceived that [healing] power has gone forth from Me.”
6. How long do I have to put up with this?
Matthew 17:17 MSG
“Jesus said, “What a generation! No sense of God! No focus to your lives! How many times do I have to go over these things? How much longer do I have to put up with this? Bring the boy here.” He ordered the afflicting demon out—and it was out, gone. From that moment on the boy was well.”
“You will never leave where you are, until you decide where you’d rather be.” Anonymous

Second, trusting God makes the impossible. . .possible.
Matthew 19:26 MSG

Third, the ultimate source of our victory.

Fifth, no task, challenge or opportunity is too great.
Philippians 4:13 AMPC
“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”
Sixth, our success and victory are guaranteed.
Mark 11:24 AMPC
“For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].”
Seventh, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
John 14:12 KJV
