7 I Am's That Define And Empower Me - Outline

on on . .

Here is the teaching outline for SUNDAY NITE LIVE.  Join us at 6 PM EST

Do you know the Name of God?”

“It’s made up of four Hebrew letters, the yud, the heh, the vav, and the heh: YHVH. It’s the most sacred of names, so sacred some refuse to say it. And yet you say it all the time.”

YHVH means ‘I Am.’ It’s the Name of the Eternal, the Name of God. His Name is I Am.”

“Then we all say His Name.” “Yes.*

Exodus 3:14–15 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“14 And God said to Moses, I Am Who I Am and What I Am, and I Will Be What I Will Be; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I Am has sent me to you!

15 God said also to Moses, This shall you say to the Israelites: The Lord, the God of your fathers, of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has sent me to you! This is My name forever, and by this name I am to be remembered to all generations.”

When we say His name. . .I Am. . .we are tapping into a power source far stronger than anything the world has ever produced.

I want to encourage you to speak the words listed below out loud in front of a mirror for the next seven mornings.  Also, make the I Am confession at other times during the day.

Try it right now. . .say these seven proclamations out loud.

I Am a child of the great I am

I Am a Rich Thinker

I Am confident

I Am smart

I Am creative

I Am healthy, wealthy and wise

I Am a destiny-shaper

1.         I am a child of the great I Am

Genesis 1:26 TLB

“Then God said, “Let us make a man—someone like ourselves, to be the master of all life upon the earth and in the skies and in the seas.”

Galatians 3:26 AMPC

“For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.”

John 1:12 AMPC

“But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name.”

The three verses we just shared should convince you beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are. . .a child of God. . .the Great I Am.

Colossians 3:23 AMPC

“Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men.”

2.         I Am A Rich Thinker.

We encourage you to read “12 Steps To Being A Rich Thinker” which you will find by using the search button at haroldherring.com

I’m going to list the twelve points but I strongly encourage you to read the entire teaching.

First, you must speak to those things that are not as though they were.

Second, make your rich thoughts as specific as possible.

Third, it is important that your rich thoughts reflect the here and now and not the hereafter.

Fourth, make your rich thoughts free from guilt.

Fifth, put some feeling into your rich thoughts confession.

Sixth, make each rich thoughts confession for at least twenty-one days.

Seventh, take small but consistent efforts at first.

Eight, create early victories.

Ninth, don’t brag to your friends or co-workers about changing.

Tenth, your thought changing process should focus on goals that are within reach.

Eleventh, write each rich thought-builder on a 3X5 card or in your smart phone.

Twelfth, don’t stop until you see your rich thought-processes changing…how you act and react.

Matthew 12:34 NLT

“You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.”

3.         I am confident.

To be successful in life, your confidence must originate from the right source.

Psalm 71:5 AMPC

“For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust from my youth and the source of my confidence.”

First, it’s important that you place your confidence in the right person.

Psalm 146:3 NLT

“Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.”

Second, man or woman may/will/can disappoint you but God never will.

Psalm 118:8 AMPC

“It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”

Job 4:6 NLT

“Doesn’t your reverence for God give you confidence? Doesn’t your life of integrity give you hope?”  \

Fourth, I am smart.

“Nobody is smarter than you” because you have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:16 KJV

“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.”

Fifth, I am creative

Hebrews 4:12 AMPC

“For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

Ephesians 2:10 AMPC

“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”

Sixth, I am healthy, wealthy and wise

The Word of God proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that God wants each of us to be healthy, wealthy and wise.

3 John 2 KJV

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

1 Corinthians 1:27 NLT

Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.”

Exodus 23:25 KJV

“And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”

Exodus 23:25 NLT

“You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.”

Exodus 15:26 KJV

“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”

Proverbs 4:23 NLT

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

Ephesians 4:22-24 AMPC

“Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion;

23 And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude],

24 And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.”

Romans 12:2 NLT

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

Seventh, I am a destiny-shaper.

Jeremiah 1:5 NIV

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Habakkuk 2:3 TLB

3 But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!”

I Am a child of the great I Am

I Am a Rich Thinker

I Am confident

I Am smart

I Am creative

I Am healthy, wealthy and wise

I Am a destiny-shaper
