We Challenge You...Seven Ways - Outline

on on . .

Here is the teaching outline for SUNDAY NITE LIVE.  Join us at 6 PM EST.

I challenge you to dream, think and act bigger than you’ve ever done before.

I challenge you to allow the mind of Christ to function, fully and freely in you.

I challenge you to . . . lead and inspire others…no matter who they are.

I challenge you to build character instead of being one.

I challenge you to give, share and bless others.

I challenge you to encourage someone. . .every day.

I challenge you to be the kind of person who will one day hear “well done, my good and faithful servant.

I am promising you a richer life and more exciting future if you accept these seven challenges.

First, we challenge you to dream big.

George Foreman once said:

“If you don’t dream you might as well be dead.”

Here’s an acronym for the word DREAM.

D. . .Develop specific goals with a daily timeline to make your dreams come true.

Philippians 3:13-14 AMPC

I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.”

R. . .Recognize and remove obstacles you need to overcome.

1 John 5:4-5 AMPC

“For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?”

Accept temporary mistakes, detours and disappointments as just that, temporary.

Psalm 34:19 NCV

“People who do what is right may have many problems, but the LORD will solve them all.”

E. . .Empower your efforts by feeding your mind a proper diet of inspiration,

information and motivation.

Matthew 7:7 KJV

Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.”

A. . .Activate Ephesians 6:8 by blessing others so God will bless you.

Ephesians 6:8 KJV

“Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.”

M. . Move into strategic alliances with people who motivate you to move beyond your comfort zone.

Exodus 18:21 MSG

“And then you need to keep a sharp eye out for competent men—men who fear God, men of integrity, men who are incorruptible—and appoint them as leaders over groups organized by the thousand, by the hundred, by fifty, and by ten.”

Second, we challenge you to never accept things the way they are.

Colossians 3:17 AMPC

“And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him.”

Colossians 3:23-24 AMPC

“Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, 24 Knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ (the Messiah).”

Romans 2:7-8 MSG

“Make no mistake: In the end you get what’s coming to you—Real Life for those who work on God’s side, but to those who insist on getting their own way and take the path of least resistance, Fire!”

Third, we challenge you to ignore limitations.

Proverbs 4:23 KJV

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Proverbs 4:23 NLT

“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

Fourth, we challenge you to reject the fear of failure.

Joshua 8:1 KJV

“And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up….”

Here are seven keys to overcoming failure.

First, accept your mistakes.

Second, stop trying too hard.

Third, ask God for help in overcoming your ‘fear’ of failure.

Fourth, look at what went wrong as a learning experience.

Fifth, learn when to say “no.”

Sixth, if you know you need to say “yes” do it even when you feel afraid.

Seventh, remember, fear is the devil’s anointing for failure.

Ephesians 3:12 AMPC

“In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).”

Fear flees when confidence in God’s Word shows up.

Fifth, we challenge you to do what you’ve never done.

Matthew 6:34 MSG

“God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”

Matthew 6:34 MSG Personalized

“God will help <<YourName>> deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”

Sixth, we challenge to never give up.

Ephesians 6:18 NCV

“Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready and never give up. Always pray for all God's people.”

Romans 12:11 CEV

“Never give up. Eagerly follow the Holy Spirit and serve the Lord.”

Romans 12:11 CEV Personalized

“<<Your Name>> will Never give up but will Eagerly follow the Holy Spirit and serve the Lord.”

Seventh, we challenge you to inspire others.

Exodus 18:20 MSG

“Your job is to teach them the rules and instructions, to show them how to live, what to do.”

Ephesians 3:12 AMPC

In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).”

Ephesians 3:20 AMPC

“Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].”

I challenge you to dream, think and act bigger than you’ve ever done before.

I challenge you to allow the mind of Christ to function, fully and freely in you.

I challenge you to . . . lead and inspire others…no matter who they are.

I challenge you to build character instead of being one.
