1 Chronicles 28:20 TLB
“Then he continued, “Be strong and courageous and get to work. Don’t be frightened by the size of the task, for the Lord my God is with you; he will not forsake you. He will see to it that everything is finished correctly."
1. Be strong
I Kings 20:27 TLB
“Israel then mustered its army, set up supply lines, and moved into the battle but the Israeli army looked like two little flocks of baby goats in comparison to the vast Syrian forces that filled the country side.”

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].”

“So you, my son, be strong (strengthened inwardly) in the grace (spiritual blessing) that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus.”

2. Be courageous
Joshua 1:9 KJV
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage. . .”
Psalm 31:24 NLT
“So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!”
2 Chronicles 32:7 KJV
“Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him.”
3. Get To Work
“The population of this country is 300 million.
160 million are retired.
That leaves 140 million to do the work.
There are 85 million in school.
Which leaves 55 million to do the work.
Of this there are 35 million employed by the federal government.
Leaving 15 million to do the work.
2.8 million are in the armed forces
Which leaves 12.2 million to do the work.
Take from that total the 10.8 million people who work for state and city governments.
And that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.
At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals.
Leaving 1,212,000 to do the work.
Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons.
That leaves just two people to do the work.
God will prosper what you do...not what you think about doing...what you talk doing or what you don't get around to do.
Exodus 14:15 TLB
“Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Quit praying and get the people moving! Forward, march!’”
4. Don’t be frightened by the size of the task
Seven practical things you can do when you feel frightened by the size of any task.
First, ask yourself what makes the task appear to be frightening.
Second, create a timeline for completion of the task.
Third, create momentum by accomplishing as many of the easier tasks as you can in 30 minutes.
Fourth, mark things off your list as they’re completed.
Fifth, control the environment where you’re thinking and working. . .as much as you can.
Sixth, every hour. . .get up and walk around a few minutes. . .so you can refresh your body and mind.
Seventh, praise God for every accomplishment.
Mark 9:23 GWT
“Jesus said to him, “As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes.”
Matthew 17:20 GWT
“He told them, “Because you have so little faith. I can guarantee this truth: If your faith is the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
5. The Lord your God is with you in whatever you do
Isaiah 41:10 CEV
“Don't be afraid. I am with you. Don't tremble with fear. I am your God. I will make you strong, as I protect you with my arm and give you victories.”
Isaiah 41:10 KJV
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Psalm 118:6 MSG

Deuteronomy 20:1 MSG
“. . . In a few minutes you're going to do battle with your enemies. Don't waver in resolve. Don't fear. Don't hesitate. Don't panic. God, your God, is right there with you, fighting with you against your enemies, fighting to win."
Psalm 139:5 MSG
“You know when I leave and when I get back; I'm never out of your sight. You know everything I'm going to say before I start the first sentence.
“I look behind me and you're there, then up ahead and you're there, too—your reassuring presence, coming and going. This is too much, too wonderful—I can't take it all in!”
6. God will not forsake you
Deuteronomy 31:6 AMPC
“Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 AMPC
“It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit—depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm].”
Joshua 1:4-6 AMPC
“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.”

7. God will enlighten, enable and empower you to finish everything you’re working on. . .correctly

Philippians 3:12-16 MSG
“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.
“So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.”
