When And Where Do Miracles Manifest - Outline

on on . .

Before we get into this teaching. . .we think you may need 2 Timothy 2:7 in the Classic Amplified Bible as an appetizer.

2 Timothy 2:7 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

“Think over these things I am saying [understand them and grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you full insight and understanding in everything.”

Did you know there are seven traditional names of Jehovah?

Jehovah Rapha is a name we find in Exodus 15:26 where God says:

“I am the God that healeth thee.”

Psalm 23:1 you have Jehovah Ra’ah which is the Lord is my shepherd.

Then there is Jehovah Tsidkenu. Jeremiah 23:6 says:

Now this is His name by which He will be called; ‘The Lord Our Righteousness.’”

Now let’s look at the four other names traditionally taught as the names of God.

Jehovah Shalom is found in Judges 6:24 in the King James Version which says:

“Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovahshalom.”

Next, Jehovah Nissi is referred to as a place in Exodus 17:15 in the King James Version which says:

“And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi.”

And Jehovah Shammah is the name of a city. . .Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 48:35 says:

“. . .and the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord is there.”

But on this broadcast we’re going to talk about Jehovah Jirah.

We have some great songs about Jehovah Jireh. . .one of the more popular is Jehovah Jireh-My Provider.

Genesis 22:2 in the Amplified Bible says:

“God said, “Take now your son, your only son [of promise], whom you love, Isaac, and go to the region of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”

Genesis 22:3 in the Amplified Bible says:

“So Abraham got up early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and his son Isaac; and he split the wood for

theburnt offering, and then he got up and went to the place of which God had told him.”

Genesis 22:14 says:

“And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Jirah. . .”

He named the place Jehovah Jirah.

Genesis 17:19 in the King James Version:

“And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.”

Genesis 22:5 in the Amplified Bible which says:

“Abraham said to his servants, “Settle down and stay here with the donkey; the young man and I will go over there and worship [God], and we will come back to you.”

Genesis 22:7 Isaac asks a question.

“And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father and said ‘My father, behold the fire and the wood but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”

Genesis 22:8 Abraham says:

“. . .“My son, God will provide for Himself a lamb for the burnt offering.” So the two walked on together.”

Genesis 22:2 once again. . .listen very carefully.

“Take now thy son, thine only son whom thee lovest, and get thee unto the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.”

Modern English version even says:

“And take him to the land of vision.”

The miracle doesn’t take place at manifestation, the miracle takes place at the time that you know that you know that you have the promise of God. That is when the miracle takes place.

Genesis 22:14 says:

“And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Jireh. . .”

Matthew 9:20 in the King James Bible says:

“And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment. For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.”

The point of the miracle is when you know that you know.

Mark 10:47 in the Amplified Bible says:

“When Bartimaeus heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout and say, “Jesus, Son of David (Messiah), have mercy on me!”

Mark 10:49-50 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called the blind man, telling him, “Take courage, get up! He is calling for you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped up and came to Jesus.”

Matthew 8:5 which says:

“And when Jesus entered into Capernaum there came unto Him a centurion beseeching Him and said, ‘My Lord, my servant is at home sick of the palsy and grievously tormented.’ Jesus said unto him, ‘I will come with thee’.”
