1.         Show me the way.

“Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You [progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with You, perceiving and recognizing and understanding more strongly and clearly] and that I may find favor in Your sight. And [Lord, do] consider that this nation is Your people.” Exodus 33:13 AMP

“Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.” Psalm 25:4 AMP

“Lord, help me learn your ways. Show me how you want me to live.” Psalm 25:4 ERV

“Lord, show me your right way of living, and make it easy for me to follow. People are looking for my weaknesses, so show me how you want me to live.” Psalm 5:8 ERV

2.         Show me a sign.

“Gideon said to Him, If now I have found favor in Your sight, then show me a sign that it is You Who talks with me.  Do not leave here, I pray You, until I return to You and bring my offering and set it before You. And He said, I will wait until you return.” Judges 6:17-18 AMP

“And when Gideon perceived that He was the Angel of the Lord, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face!” Judges 6:22

3.         Show me the love.

“There is a saying, ‘Love your friends and hate your enemies.’ But I say: Love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!. . . If you love only those who love you, what good is that? Even scoundrels do that much.  If you are friendly only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even the heathen do that.” Matthew 5:43-44, 46-47 TLB

4.         Show Me Mercy.

“God's mercy and grace give me hope - for myself, and for our world.” Dr. Billy Graham

“I always look to the Lord for help.  Only he can free me from my troubles.  I am hurt and lonely. Turn to me, and show me mercy.  Free me from my troubles.  Help me solve my problems.” Psalm 25:15-17 ERV

“Come, Lord, and show me your mercy, for I am helpless, overwhelmed, in deep distress.” Psalm 25:16 TLB

“So, Lord, I turned and prayed to you.  I asked you, Lord, to show me mercy.” Psalm 30:8 ERV

“Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7

“Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].” Hebrews 4:16 AMP

“We need to show mercy. I mean, because as much mercy as you show people, that's the mercy you're going to be receiving.” Joel Osteen

“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.” Luke 6:36

5.         Show me favor.

6.         Show me the money.

“Show me the money used for the tribute. And they brought Him a denarius.” Matthew 22:19 AMP

“And when they [speaking of Jesus and Peter] were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

“He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

“Peter saith unto him, Of strangers.  Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

“Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for ME and THEE.”  Matthew 17:24-27

“Bring offerings to show me how thankful you are. Gladly bring more offerings than I have demanded. You really love to do this. I, the Lord God, have spoken!” Amos 4:5 CEV

7.         Show me your faith.

“But someone will say [to you then], You [say you] have faith, and I have [good] works. Now you show me your [alleged] faith apart from any [good] works [if you can], and I by [good] works [of obedience] will show you my faith.” James 2:18 AMP

Here are seven keys to exercising your faith.

First, what you do in life. . .will be a reflection of what you’ve learned.

“I tell the things which I have seen and learned at My Father’s side, and your actions also reflect what you have heard and learned from your father.” John 8:38 AMP

Second, our greatest desire should be for our deeds to reflect His instructions.

“Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your decrees!” Psalm 119:5 NLT

Third, faith must be an action or it will always be inactive.

“So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).” James 2:17 AMP

Fourth, it’s a team effort. . .faith. . .knowing that God’s Word is true. . .and actions which unleash faith into the natural realm.

“You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete.” James 2:22 NLT

Fifth, you will be rewarded for the actions you take. . .and consequences when you don’t.

“Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.” For God understands all hearts, and he sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve.” Proverbs 24:12 NLT

Sixth, our commitment to bring glory and honor to His name. . .will automatically bring success to ours.

“Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 NLT

Seventh, you’ll be paid for your faithful actions.

“Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit.” Revelation 22:12 AMP

“You are my God. Show me what you want me to do, and let your gentle Spirit lead me in the right path.” Psalm 143:10 CEV
