Have you ever come across someone whom you haven’t seen in years and the very first thing they say to you is. . . “Wow, you’ve changed so much that I barely recognized you.”

Some people fail to recognize a change in your appearance, maybe a change in your hair color, radical new cut or even hair loss.

While some people will recognize the change in your outward appearance few may recognize the inward changes in your life.

There are also times that we may not recognize someone because of a change in their conversation, behavior, attitude and/or character.

While you may on occasion fail to recognize someone for one reason or another. . .there is one thing you will never fail to recognize.

If you feel like you’ve been caught in your comfort zone. . .if it feels like your spinning your wheels but moving no closer to your goals. . .then this teaching will give you practical insight on how to move from where you are. . .toward your destiny.

Here are seven practical ways to energize the move toward your destiny.

#1 Use The Ability You've Got.

President Theodore Roosevelt said:

Your comfort zone is an enemy of your future. . .a hindrance to your success. . .a stumbling block to your destiny.

If you stay in your comfort zone. . .you will never leave nor surpass your current reality.

Here are seven ways to get out of your comfort zone.

I have taught the story of Isaac sowing in the midst of an economic famine and reaping a hundredfold return many, many times to audiences around the world.

I’ve spoken, taught and preached how God told Isaac in Genesis 26:2 to “. . . Go not down into Egypt. . .” more times than I can remember.

In a very special moment the Lord gave me the outline for a teaching that I call  “Seven Reasons To Stay Out Of Egypt.”

At a time when everyone else was following the world system by heading to Egypt to escape the economic hard times . . . God told Isaac to stay. 

Unfortunately, way too many believers follow the “wisdom” of the world when it comes to their personal finances as opposed to following the instructions found in the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever misplaced something you not only wanted to find. . .but you had to find.

Perhaps, it was your car or house keys. . .an important document for work or some back-up files for your taxes.

After some time passed and more mental anguish than you care to admit you finally found the misplaced items.

Recently, a precious, close friend of ours, Pastor Malc Burton sent me the following text.

“Good morning, Pastor.  Read Psalm 62:5 when you get a moment.  God stirred me this morning about misplaced expectation and misplaced trust.  Love you.”

I’ve always heard some men and women of God talk about a point of contact when it comes to the prayer of agreement.

Over the years I’ve come to believe a point of contact is anything God instructs us to do to help release our faith.

Our point of contact could be the prayer of faith…the laying on of hands…an act of faith that causes you to move outside your comfort zone, Holy Communion…a prayer cloth or anything that requires a step of faith toward the previously unknown.

A point of contact is a method we use to reach God and obey His divine instructions. 

Point of contact is also used in transferring the anointing and healing.

Sickness is evil. . .it is not of God.

We never see God introduce it in the Bible.  We only see it show up after Satan comes into the picture.

Though there are some well-meaning Christians who feel it’s a cross God wants us to bear. 

Not so.  Absolutely, scripturally speaking not so.

The only things we see come from God are good gifts. . .advantageous gifts.

Do you ever remember hearing someone talk about the K.I.S.S. method?

No, I’m not talking about kiss for a loved one or friend. . .and I’m most certainly not talking about the rock group by that name.

Some years ago, and frankly, I don’t remember when or where I hear the K.I.S.S. method first but regardless. . .K.I.S.S. means KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.

If you want to move outside your comfort zone. . .if you want to change your mental, spiritual and financial environment. . .then you must keep it simple.

To do otherwise and expect things to change is well. . .just. . .stupid.

Webster’s Dictionary defines success as:

“outcome, result”

Successful outcome is something that follows as a result or consequence

According to Webster…..marketplace is defined as”

“an open square or place in a town where markets or public sales are held or  the everyday world”          

Have you ever had a conversation with someone who thought they “knew it all?”  Perhaps you even referred to that person as a “know it all.”

Truth of the matter is. . .when you think you know it all. . .you haven’t even begun to tap into the wisdom and knowledge that’s available to you.

Isaac Asimov, the scientist, said:

“People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.”

Have there been times in your life. . .when you totally realized you didn’t “know it all?”  In fact, you didn’t even know what to do next.
