Have you ever heard someone say that “a picture is worth a thousand words?”

I treasure the photographs of my wife, our children and grandchildren.  Words really can’t describe the emotions that I feel as I look at some of those photos.

However, there are some words that are worth much more than any picture.

The 10 Commandments contain 297 words.

The Bill of Rights is stated in 463 words.

Have you ever misplaced something you not only wanted to find. . .but you had to find.

Perhaps, it was your car or house keys. . .an important document for work or some back-up files for your taxes.

After some time passed and more mental anguish than you care to admit you finally found the misplaced items.

I was once guilty of what I’m about to say. . .but not anymore.

I used to speak about what I had to have to meet this or that need.  I, unwittingly, developed a need mentality. . .which was reinforced by the words of my mouth.

I can remember totaling up bills and praying for God to meet this need of $15,000 or whatever the amount by a specific date.  When the need was met. . .I breathed a sigh of relief and, of course, gave God the proper glory.

However, a moment of pure revelation came to my fine wife Bev and I. . .the day we realized that we should stop thinking and speaking in terms of needs. . and begin thinking and speaking of living in surplus.

I’ve always heard some men and women of God talk about a point of contact when it comes to the prayer of agreement.

Over the years I’ve come to believe a point of contact is anything God instructs us to do to help release our faith.

Our point of contact could be the prayer of faith…the laying on of hands…an act of faith that causes you to move outside your comfort zone, Holy Communion…a prayer cloth or anything that requires a step of faith toward the previously unknown.

A point of contact is a method we use to reach God and obey His divine instructions. 

Point of contact is also used in transferring the anointing and healing.

Sickness is evil. . .it is not of God.

We never see God introduce it in the Bible.  We only see it show up after Satan comes into the picture.

Though there are some well-meaning Christians who feel it’s a cross God wants us to bear. 

Not so.  Absolutely, scripturally speaking not so.

The only things we see come from God are good gifts. . .advantageous gifts.

A goal is a vision of how it is . . . before it is.

In talking about goals at my seminars, rallies and church services, I’ve had a few believers question whether or not goal-setting was important or even scriptural.

I’ve asked those folks why they got saved.  Invariably, the answer is “to go to heaven.”  I then asked if they were going today. If they say, not unless Jesus comes back, I say, “If heaven is not your immediate destination, it is still your goal.”

A goal is the manifestation…the end result achieved through vision, prior proper planning, persistence and peak performance. 

Clearly identify and plan your action timeline for the things on your goal list each day. . .in the six major areas of your life which are:

Do you ever remember hearing someone talk about the K.I.S.S. method?

No, I’m not talking about kiss for a loved one or friend. . .and I’m most certainly not talking about the rock group by that name.

Some years ago, and frankly, I don’t remember when or where I hear the K.I.S.S. method first but regardless. . .K.I.S.S. means KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.

If you want to move outside your comfort zone. . .if you want to change your mental, spiritual and financial environment. . .then you must keep it simple.

To do otherwise and expect things to change is well. . .just. . .stupid.
