Just after this morning’s Rich Thoughts For Breakfast call. . .my fine wife and I were taking communion and praying for partners. . .when I received a text from an amazing Pastor, gifted writer of over 100 books for well-known ministry leaders. . .and most of all, a close friend of ours.

He texted:

“Morning, I hope you’re off to a good start.

“Can you give me a Bible illustration for targeting our seed?”

After Bev and I finished our prayer and communion time. . .I Googled “aiming your seed for a specific need.”

Imagine my surprise when the first item that popped up was a teaching entitled “7 Keys To Aiming Your Seed At Your Need” written by. . .me.

So I sent my dear friend the Rich Thoughts For Breakfast teaching. . .I would share his response back to me but it would be embarrassing because he was more than kind.

But more importantly, while I was reading the teaching. . .the Lord directed me to expand the teaching because there was more to be said.  So here we go. . .

A seed is a supernatural blessing.

Some years ago (22 to be exact), there was a movie entitled “Jerry McGuire.”

Truthfully, I’ve never watched the entire movie. . .however, I did see part of the Oscar –winning performance by Cuba Gooding, Jr., as an athlete seeking a more lucrative financial contract.

Throughout the movie, Gooding would say to Tom Cruise his agent “Show me the money” which became an immediate pop culture sensation.

The phrase “Show me the money” was then repeated for some time by celebrities and normal people like you and me.

A few days ago, I was doing a search on money. . .when I came across a phrase that said “show me the money.”

I smiled and did an immediate search on “show me.”  The result of which. . .is this teaching on seven things God wants to show us.

1.         Show me the way.

There are actual people who live the words of the Hank Williams, Sr. song which goes like this.
