From Debt-Generating To Wealth Producing

Written by Harold Herring.

Money is always looking for a place to go…it’s up to us to send it to the right places.

We must stop being a debt-generating Christian and become a wealth-producing, people-blessing believer.

It’s decision time.  Today, we will decide whether to continue living our lives the way we’ve been living or change to debt-free living.

Here are seven ways to stop being a debt generating Christian and save more of what you make.

#1        Develop Your Spiritual Resistance.

Focus on scriptures involving personal discipline and the ability to withstand temptation by just saying “no” or walking on by.

The debtors are you best friend. . .so long as you pay your minimum payments on time and don’t exceed your credit limit.  If or when either of those scenarios take care. . .your friends at the credit card companies begin to change their outlook.

Habakkuk 2:7 in the Amplified Bible says:

Four Questions About Your Future

Written by Harold Herring.

I want to ask you four questions.

Your immediate and progressive response to these questions will determine, in no small manner, the way you'll finish 2015

First, how valuable is your life?

Second, how valuable is your time?

Third, how long did it take someone to design, engineer and construct the building you are sitting in?

Fourth, is your life and time more valuable than the building you are sitting in?

Now here are the answers.

7 Keys To Every Winner In Life. . .Masters

Written by Harold Herring.

Thousands of books have been written about what it takes to be a winner in life.  These books include many choice nuggets or as I call them RICH THOUGHTS.

On occasion you will find some thoughts that are way out in left field. . .and should be forgotten as quickly as they were read.

However, there is ONE BOOK which is always RIGHT. . .always ACCURATE and totally GUARANTEED.  It’s the Word of God.

Here are seven keys for every winner as revealed in God’s Holy Bible.

# 1       Have a ‘Never Give Up’ Attitude

One of the biggest challenges most Christians face is giving up on their dreams, goals and assignments before they achieve victory.

The only way we lose in life. . .is if we give up and quit.

The scripture is very clear about why we should never think about giving up.  Here are seven reasons why. . .we should keep on. . .keeping on.

7 Ways To Get It Together

Written by Harold Herring.

I was a non-involved bystander when the Dad said to his son. . .you need to get your mess together.

I understood what he meant but why would you want to get a mess together…by definition that doesn’t sound the least bit desirable.

Over the years, I’ve heard people admonish others to get their lives together.

I believe the ultimate purpose of these somewhat awkward admonitions is to bring order and purpose into a person’s life.

Order as defined and I think correctly by Dr. Mike Murdock, our mentor and personal friend is:

“the accurate arrangement of things.”

I believe bringing order or getting things together. . .positions every believer to walk in the destiny God desires for them.

One Of His Favorite Tricks

Written by Harold Herring.

There was a time when being deceptive would not be tolerated...but any more, it seems to be the norm in advertising...encouraged on some dating sites...permissible in politics...overlooked in some workplaces...but none of that makes it right, ethical or moral.  In fact, it's scripturally wrong and displeasing to God.

So let’s look at deception. . .where it began, how to recognize and overcome it.

First, we need to understand the enemy ONLY has three weapons he can use against us…the ability to tempt; accuse and deceive.

Second, deception according to the British Dictionary.com means:

“the act of deceiving or the state of being deceived; something that deceives; trick”

The first case of deception and false advertising began in the Garden of Eden.

7 Environments To Change

Written by Harold Herring.

Change is a word frequently discussed but rarely acted on. . .especially, by politicians.

Real change. . .lasting change. . .is a change of heart followed by decisive action to do things differently.

The word change is in the King James Bible a total of 23 times while it appears in the Amplified Bible 46 times.  Let’s look at several key scriptures that reflect the meaning of change.

Matthew 3:2 in the King James Version says:

“And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

As we’ve taught before, the Greek word for repent is G3340 and it means:

“to change one’s mind, to repent”

The meaning behind repent is clarified in Matthew 3:2 in the Amplified Bible translation which says:
