Order Is The Key To Your Destiny

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

“The world is wrong side up. It needs to be turned upside down in order to be right side up.”   Evangelist Billy Sunday

Perhaps we need to turn our lives right side up to achieve order in our daily existence.

The existence of order in our lives. . .will determine our destiny for good or evil.

Order is defined at dictionary.com as:

“an authoritative direction or instruction; command; mandate; to regulate, conduct, or manage: to order one's life for greater leisure.”

Personally, I prefer the wisdom of Luke 1:1 in the Amplified Bible:

More Effective Than Daydreaming

“Prepare while others are daydreaming” is a powerful statement made by William Arthur Ward in his Blueprint For Achievement.

H. Jackson Browne said:

“The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.”

What preparations have you made for today?  Have you written your to-do list for the tomorrow?

Robert H Schuller said:

“Spectacular achievement is always preceded by unspectacular preparation.”

I want you to write down the next five words. . .if you get nothing else from this blog…these five words when properly applied will change your destiny.

Here it is.

7 Must Read Talking Points For Your Success

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

Ecclesiastes 3:22 in the Contemporary English Version says:

We were meant to enjoy our work, and that's the best thing we can do. We can never know the future.”

According to a recent Gallup workplace study over 70% of American employees DO NOT like their jobs.  That’s not good or for that matter…scriptural.

If we settle for a job just to earn a paycheck. . .with the attitude of doing just enough to get by. . .we’ll never be happy in the job.

To me, it’s real simple. . .if you don’t like what you’re doing or where you’re working. . .stop complaining and do something about it.

Here are seven must read talking points for your success in the workplace or marketplace.

First, stop talking negatively about your supervisor or your job.

Let me ask you a question. . .now be honest. . .have you ever complained about a job, your supervisor or the management of the company?   If so, STOP IT NOW.

When you speak negatively about someone or something. . .you are empowering the enemy to further torment you.

You're Going To Like This Place

I’m reminded of an airplane flight I took some years ago.  I was sitting in first class and the two men across the aisle were discussing how they were going to become filthy rich.

One of the men noticed that I had more than a passing interest in their conversation.  He directed his comments at me and inquired, “Do you want to be filthy rich too?”  I said, “No, I don’t want to be filthy at anything.”

Then I quoted Proverbs 10:22:

“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

I said for me to be filthy would be sorrowful.

The man said “You must be one of those name it and claim Christians.”

I said if it’s in the Bible I will name it and claim the promise as mine.

He said, “Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Christian.”  Then he quoted Psalm 118:24 which says:

I read years ago that what you focus on ... expands in your life.  If you want to be debt free ... then you need to focus your mind and mouth on things that will enable and empower your journey to financial success.

To assist you in your financial freedom journey I've put together 31 powerful scriptures to enrich and engraft within you God's desire for you to be debt free.

I encourage you to memorize one scripture every day.  For instance, on Day 1 memorize the Day 1 scripture and confess it throughout the day.  On Day 2, continue confessing the scripture from Day 1 as you commit the scripture for Day 2 to your memory.  Meditate on these scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten your spirit with each word.

This exercise is important...it's not enough to just read the Word...you must memorize it and confess the scriptures on a daily basis.  Remember out of the abundance of the heart...the mouth speaks.

Every day you need to be thinking and speaking about being debt free.

7 Ways To Rise Above Your Circumstances

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

If I had a penny for every time someone said to me: “You don’t know my circumstances,” I would be able to pay for my dream trip to Bora Bora.

When people say that to me my usual response is: “You know. . .you’re right. . and I don’t want to know your circumstances.

Dictionary.com defines circumstances as:

“a condition, detail, part, or attribute, with respect to time, place, manner, agent, etc., that accompanies, determines, or modifies a fact or event; a modifying or influencing factor”

Spiritually speaking. . .I define circumstance as the circle you’re standing in.

We shouldn’t be standing still. . .we should be moving from glory unto glory (2 Corinthians 3:18).

In which case, we would be leaving our circumstances behind.

So for me. . .the question is why do I want to hear about what this person ought to be leaving behind.
