Get ready...the verse I'm about to share with you will make you SHOUT...JUMP UP AND DOWN while you TURN AROUND when you realize what it can mean for you!

Ephesians 3:20 in the Amplified Bible which says:

“Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].”

If it isn’t obvious that we’re living in the end-times. . .just read the headlines in your local newspaper or on your favorite internet news source.

There’s an old Ray Charles song entitled “If It Wasn’t For Bad Luck.”  One refrain of the song says:  “if it wasn't for bad luck y'all. . .Oh! I wouldn't have no luck at all.”

It seems the news media has adopted that philosophy and terminology.  If it wasn’t for bad news. . .there would be no news at all.”

We’re not minimizing the troubles in the world. . .they are plentiful. . .but we don’t need to get caught in despair over what’s happening around us and to us.

Here are seven ways to overcome troubled times.

Have you been looking for your Boaz?  A successful, wealthy, Godly man to marry?

Are you looking for your Ruth?  A lovely, Godly woman of integrity to call your wife?

Are you praying for a Ruth or a Boaz for your children and/or grandchildren?

Or are you just curious about the 7 keys to finding your successful, wealthy, Godly mate?

If you answered yes. . .to any of these questions. . .then you’re right on target for this teaching.

For a moment, I want to discuss the most effective and successful key for you to utilize in finding your Boaz or your Ruth.

Ask God.  That’s right. . .ask God to bring the right person into your life and remove all the wrong influences.  For every believer. . .this is the number one key to finding the person God has for you.  However, there are other keys that will help.

Here are the seven keys to finding your Boaz or Ruth:

I’m fed up with people. . .unbelievers. . .even God-fearing. . .tongue-talking people who, with a certain degree of religious snobbery, say with seeming authority that rich people can’t be happy or go to the heaven.

The basic premise of these negative, self-postulating, unscriptural people is that if you have money. . .you’re going to change and become some sort of greedy, immoral deviant who is overcome with anxieties, sinful desires (booze, drugs and sex), long hours on the job that will decimate your family and that being rich means you’re obviously trapped in an unhappy existence.

Excuse me. . .but that’s just crazy.  Let’s look at some scriptural facts based on the entire counsel of God’s word. . .and not scriptures taken out of context.

10.  God wants to supersize your vision.  Talk with Him about it today.

  9.  Today…regardless of your adversity…determine to be like Paul.  “But none of these things move me.”  Acts 20:24 AMP

  8.  Your biggest cheerleader may not be your best friend or a family member so listen to what God’s telling more than you do others.

  7.  When entering a new environment…pause to look, listen and learn before speaking.

It’s one thing to think about what you want to do.  It’s another thing to speak about what you plan to do.  But, it’s an entirely different matter to act on what you’ve been thinking and speaking about doing.

Last evening, after a particularly long day. . .I came across James 1:22-24 in the Message Bible which says:

“Don't fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don't act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.”

I was struck by five words in this passage of scripture when it says:

For years, I've taught people in seminars around the world that no doesn't always mean "N O" sometimes it actually means know.

The person with whom you're speaking may not have either the knowledge or the authority to answer to your question.

If you're calling a financial services company about a credit card situtation or anything else...it's always best to talk with a supervisor who has the ability to say yes..

I’ve written about purpose dozens of times. . .but I feel impressed to discuss it again. . .from a little different perspective.

Dictionary.com defines purpose as:

1.      the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc.

2.      an intended or desired result; end; aim; goal.

God Has A Purpose For Your Life.

Say it out loud:  GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE…personalize and write it down.

Without your purpose identified firmly in your mind, you will wander through life, never quite feeling that you’re “in the flow.”

And let me be clear, your PURPOSE may have nothing to do with how you make money (your job)…because you can make MONEY in many ways.. that may not be directly related to your purpose….although you can still glorify God while doing your job.

Purpose gives meaning to WHY you’re doing what you’re doing.
