The decisions you make in the remainder of 2019 will determine your destiny in 2020.

The New Year is fast approaching … are you ready to live it to the fullest?

I was directed by our Heavenly Father to be very bold with you in this letter.

He said:

“Tell my children that just hoping things will get better will not make 2020 a better year...but I can make it so.”

Then the Lord told me He wants you to develop a 20/20 vision for success, prosperity and healing. He gave me very specific instructions on what He wants us to speak as we greet the New Year.

Change is not a function of a calendar, but it is a personal decision for us to change what we’re saying and doing.

The Lord gave me five instructions for each of us and then He led me in writing seven confessions for each of the first seven days in the New Year. 

Here are the instructions.

#1 Start the year differently than you ever have before.

Don’t do what you’ve always done.

If you’ve always made New Year’s resolutions on losing weight, exercising more, getting your personal finances in order...only to have your good intentions fade with the passing of each new day...

 Get ready for something that will not fade but grow stronger...every day.

Revelation 21:5 in the Classic Amplified Bible says:

“And He Who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new. Also He said, Record this, for these sayings are faithful (accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy) and true (genuine).”

Please focus as you read this...it’s critical to your future success.

#2 Set a specific time to boldly proclaim your confessions each day.

Set an alarm...write it on your calendar...put a reminder on your refrigerator but COMMIT to make your seven daily confessions at a specific time.

It’s important that you come into line with the Word of God every day. Do not let the tyranny of the urgent or anything else stand in your way. Psalm 90:12 Classic Amplified Bible says:

“So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom.” Make every effort to get Ecclesiastes 3:1 (MSG) down in your spirit.“

There’s a Right Time for Everything.

“There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth.”

STOP RIGHT NOW!! Ask God what would be the best time for you to speak your confessions each day.

Write down the first time that came to your mind.  

Next, ask God to help you honor the time that He brought to your mind.

#3 Make your daily confession with a holy boldness that will shake the hordes of hell.

Acts 14:3 in the New Living Translation says:

“But the apostles stayed there a long time, preaching boldly about the grace of the Lord. And the Lord proved their message was true by giving them power to do miraculous signs and wonders.”

When you speak the Word boldly and confidently...these things will begin manifesting in your life.

That’s why, my fine wife, Bev and I are speaking Acts 4:29 (MSG) over you...

Say this out loud over yourself:

“. . . give me fearless confidence in preaching your Message, as you stretch out your hand to us in healings and miracles and wonders done in the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

Making these daily confessions for the first seven days of 2020 will give you “fearless confidence” and “healings and miracles and wonders” are manifested in and through your life.

#4 Forget the past...focus on the future.

As I was praying about what the Lord would have me say in this letter...He led me to 2 Corinthians 5:17.

He directed me to tell His children that this verse applies to more than being born-again. He wants you to know it’s a formula for living the God kind of life 20/20.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

I love how that verse says that “old things are passed away.” The Contemporary English version says, “The past is forgotten.” The New Living Translation says, “The old life is gone, a new life has begun.”

What will make this new life begin? It’s not the passage of time...but a conscious decision to put God first in every decision we make...to give Him glory and honor for the mighty things He has done and is doing in our lives.

And, yes, to speak into existence the God-given confessions He wants me to send to you.

#5 Two steps to make 2020 your best year ever.

First, I was directed by the Lord not to send the confessions with this email...He told me that if you responded...you would be serious about wanting to receive the confessions.

Second, let me know you if you want me to email them to you ASAP. You will have a chance to request the Confessions below.

As the old saying goes, if you want something you’ve never had...you must do something you’ve never done.

Finally, Bev and I are going to spend New Year’s Day praying these seven confessions over you.

I checked twelve different translations and found breakthrough only appears in the Message Bible and not in the context of contemporary usage.

According to dictionary.com breakthrough is defined as:

“Sudden burst of revelation that enthusiastically moves you beyond all previous points of past resistance bringing you to a new level of success.”

In other words, you. . .nobody else but you . . . will make a decision to move beyond the boundaries that societal inertia or attacks of the enemy have taken you.
