7 Keys to Experiencing God's Best

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

Over the years, I’ve counseled so many partners to wait for Isaac because they don’t need Ishmael in their lives.  We should always. . .always want God’s best in our lives.

It’s always best to wait for God’s best. . .because life is too short to do anything without God's best.

Recently, I came across a quote which not only fired my imagination but confirmed the advice I’d given over the years.

7 Things About The Golden Rule

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

I remember learning The Golden Rule early in life.

Later in school. . .I learned the modified version.

“Do unto others before they have a chance to do it unto you.”

As an adult, I learned yet another version of The Golden Rule.  This one says:

7 Leadership Qualities To Becoming A King

Remember the old game show “Name That Tune.”  Well, it’s your turn to play and name this tune.

“I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate,

A poet, a pawn and a king.

I've been up and down and over and out

And I know one thing:

Each time I find myself, flat on my face,

I pick myself up and get back in the race.”

Quit Looking In The Rearview Mirror

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

On the last Sunday of a year…several years back…I was sitting in the service at The Wisdom Center where my good friend and mentor, Dr. Mike Murdock is the Pastor and Founder.

During the service, Dr. Murdock asked me to share what we should know to make the new year….successful.  I asked the Lord what He would have me say and instantly He gave me six words.

“Quit Looking In The Rearview Mirror.”

7 Keys To Being A Dreamer

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

Have you ever thought about how you’d like to be recognized?

Genesis 37:19 says:

“And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.”

The dreamer cometh.  I think I like that.

Years ago, my fine wife Bev and I had the pleasure of meeting George Foreman.  As a former heavyweight champion and entrepreneur . . .he is a delightful man.

Foreman once said:

“If you don’t dream you might as well be dead.”

If you don’t have a dream. . .I don’t think you should be dead. . .I just think you need to be taught how to become a dreamer.

7 Things To Do To Experience 7 Kinds Of Wealth

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

If you were to ask any Word of Faith or prosperity minded believer to name their top ten scriptures the list would no doubt include some of the following.

3 John 2                                                        Psalms 35:27

Deuteronomy 8:18                                       John 10:10

1 Timothy 6:17                                              Philippians 4:19

Genesis 12:2-3                                             2 Corinthians 9:8, 10

Luke 6:38                                                      Matthew 6:33

If I were to ask the same group to narrow the list to their top five. . .no doubt Deuteronomy 8:18 would still be in the list.

7 Ways To Develop The Right Kind Of Attitude

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

If you want things to be different in your life. . .the number one thing you need to change is not your job, circumstances, environment, relationships or income. . .it’s YOU.

You must first change your attitude.  Now your attitude can be either good or bad.  That’s why I want to be very specific.

Your attitude is determined by the collection of the dominant thoughts in your mind.  So in determining the proper kind of attitude for change. . .we must look at Philippians 2:5 in the New Living Translation which says:

“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”

Seven Life-Changing Exercises

A few minutes ago, my fine wife Bev and I concluded a Conference Call for Spiritual Entrepreneurs and those who are or will be operating in the end-time Office of the Giver.

Here are the seven life-changing exercises we shared during the call.

3M Plus 2M Plus 2M Equals Your Success

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

As I was reading the Word a few days ago, I saw three words that ignited in my Spirit.

Motivation, Momentum and Manifestation.

My first thought was “3M.”  I smile and thought that would be a great sermon title. . .the kind that would draw the interest of the curious.

However, as I started writing down some notes. . .God brought the words “mindset and mobilization” to my remembrance.  I thought “Okay, I will call the message “5M.”

Smiling. . .but then God stirred the words “meticulous and marketable” in my spirit.

7 Reasons God Wants You To Be An Action Star

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

A quick glance at a listing of the highest grossing movies of all times will reveal they’re overwhelmingly from the action genre.

We like action stars who’re willing. . .despite the odds to take on the bad guys no matter how seemingly impossible. . .the challenge may seem.

If you want to go where the spiritual action is. . .you need to step outside your comfort zone.  Here are seven things every action star should know.

7 Steps To Putting Pressure On The Word

Written by Harold Herring. Posted in RichThoughts

It’s time to press the Word of God for direction and deliverance.

For several months, my fine wife Bev keeps mentioning the need to be pressing the word.  After a recent Sunday TLC church. . .our faithful friend, Fred. . .wrote for more information on exactly what is meant by pressing the Word.

Here’s what we wrote Fred.

“Pressing the Word is like taking a scripture and continually applying it to the problem you want to eliminate until you receive the break through.

“What happens to so many Christians is they pray a scripture over a problem... then they leave it alone…then giving up when nothing happens.  I feel the Holy Spirit showed me how to continually put pressure on that scripture to perform...like reapplying pressure to stop the bleeding in a wound... it helps to be forceful... purposed.
