Good morning and welcome to Rich Thoughts For Breakfast.

Let’s talk about ten scriptural reasons you’ve got miracle working power available to you.  As I go through these ten scriptures. . .I’m going to specifically list 34 power points or keys. . .which I will review at the end of the call.

How’s your vision?

I’m not talking about your natural eyesight but your spiritual vision.

Do you know God’s vision for your life?  And if not, why not?

If you already know His vision for your life. . .what are you doing to bring it to pass?

The word vision appears in the King James Version of the Bible a total of 96 times.

10.  When you feel all alone while pursuing your dreams…remember, once you gave your heart to Jesus you’re never alone again.

  9.  Every time we bless someone by our giving…it raises our level of joy and our level of living.

  3. We need to stop complaining about what we don’t have and begin praising God for what we do have.

  2.  A successful person keeps focused on their goals…never doubts their faith or gives up until victory is achieved.

  1.  You cannot continually think about what was or what could have been if you want to create a new reality of what will be.

Have your ever had someone say. . . “I’ve been thinking about you?”

While we assume those thoughts are good. . .we have no idea what they’re thinking or how long they thought about us.

There is a pick-up line that single men sometimes use on single women.  It goes like this.

“Girl, I’m so tired. . .because you’ve been running through my mind all day.”

By the way ladies, if a man ever uses that line on you. . .be flattered but quickly ask him. . .if he has a job. . .does he have a five-year plan for the future. . .if he doesn’t answer “yes” to both those questions. . .leave him in the rearview mirror of your life.

10.  Obedience to instructions, timing and patience are the three keys to establishing divine connections.

  9.  God wants our best moments in prayer and meditation on His Word…not the dregs or remains of our day.  Put Him first.

1 Corinthians 15:20-22 says:

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”

As I was meditating on this scripture. . .I felt the Lord leading me to write on this passage.   At first, I wasn’t sure exactly what he wanted me to write about.

Did He want me to write about how Resurrection Sunday should be celebrated 52 weeks a year?

Did God want me to remind everyone that He is the greatest giver?  That He gave us His only begotten Son that we might have eternal life?

There’s a country and western song entitled “looking for love in all the wrong places” written by Waylon Jennings.

The first stanza says:  “I’ve spent a lifetime looking for you.”

This morning God directed me to tell His children not to be looking in the wrong places to find the right Person with the answers to the problems they’re facing.

Then He said:

10.  Putting positive and negative thoughts into the same environment will not create the success mentality you desire or expect.

  9.  Fear is the devil’s anointing and it’s kept many a good person from fulfilling their destiny.

  8.  The real measure of our generosity is when we bless someone who has no ability to repay us.  Eccl 11:1 MSG

  7.  Make it your policy to never judge a person by the color of their skin or their neck (red).

  6.  This is the day that everything changed (Resurrection Sunday).

  5. Do we qualify as Good Samaritans?  Are we willing to be inconvenienced for someone we’ve never met?

  4. If you don’t know what to do…ask Him.  He’s not somebody else’s God…He’s your personal God.  Read and study Isaiah 48:17 MSG          

  3. God does not want us holding onto the past.  He wants us anticipating the future and the new thing He is about to do in our lives.

  2.  The worst place for a believer is in a comfort zone where they accept things as they are instead of creating them as they can be.

  1.  A lack of purpose and plans means you are on cruise control driving to eternity without a clue why you were placed here in the first place.

When I feel led to teach a subject…it’s at the unction of the Holy Spirit.

I was somewhat surprised when I was recently directed to write another message on prosperity.  I’ve written 17 sermons with the words “prosper” or “prosperity” in the title.  Over 386 of my teachings mention prosper and prosperity in a significant way.

So I think you can understand my amazement at being directed to write on prosperity once again.  But this one thing I know. . .I want to be obedient to His instruction.

Plus, I also know that a number of people will be ministered to in a significant way by hearing or reading this teaching. God always has a purpose in everything He does.

Here are seven ways to prosper.

Have you ever had someone give up on you?

A teacher who felt that you would never understand Algebra II?

A spouse who felt that you’d never get around to that project you promised or you’d never learn how to cook?

An employer who is frustrated because you didn’t understand the company’s computer program and software applications?

No matter what you’ve done or not done. . .no matter how many times you’ve messed up. . .or how often you’ve lost your way. . .there is one person who will never give up on you. . .your loving Heavenly Father.
